I used no$gba to test it out but all the conversations of the NPC's are blank out, they're missing (for example the snake dude who opens with the tutorial).
Is it a bug of no$gba or a patch problem...?
Thanks.

ID changes when i patch, so you might want to double check...

I think (but I'm not sure) that translation-patching a rom actually modifies the location of a lot of the data, leaving the old cheats useless.

Yes, I have that, however there's two parts of the code. I edited it to the first part but it still doesn't recognize the cheatcodes for that game.
What card are you using because theres a good chance that might be part of it. and are you sure that the second part of the code isnt different to?

I don't know what the second part of the patched file is because the title editor only shows the first like, whatever it is, four characters. the other part i need is the 2nd half of that, which is like I think 8? iirc

Which is why you were told to check it using r4cce.

Notes: The link seems to be working again. Just my opinion, but I think this translation should be considered one that is approaching completeness vs. staying stagnant. Theli and everyone else who's contributed, thank you so much for all of your work on Culdcept! (You are the one who made it possible for me to play.. I'm STILL waiting on the local gamestores to get me the PS2 version in english hehe..) Please know your work is appreciated!

Wow, who dubbed the beginning of the game? That's so awesome!

By the way, when creating the character, do the different books you can select (by giving different values to the number with the pictograms next to them) have different abilities? Could anyone just give me a brief rundown what's the different between the choices there? Thanks a lot!
