You have to use either badda's Luma3DS mod (unofficial merge of Nanquitas' first mod with Luma3DS 9.1) or Nanquitas' Luma3DS mod (mirror) (latest and greatest, with .3gx support).

L + R + Down + Select?

Instructions in OP are still OK for this.

You'll need Nanquitas' mod from Discord or the mirror I provided. You can replace your existing Luma3DS with this one. Or boot it in another way. I use fastboot3DS.

Currently, 0.5.1 Beta. It's on Nanquitas' discord. Below is a mirror.

The plugins can be set at 2 places:
  • sd:/luma/plugins/<tid>/plugin.plg - Name of the plugin must be plugin.plg and you have to replace <tid> by the title id of your game
  • If a plugin isn't found in the tid folder, Luma3DS will search for ActionReplay.plg in sd:/luma/plugins/ActionReplay/ActionReplay.plg
Instead of .plg read .3gx.
 
I manage to make cheat list come up but it won't work as it did before even though I use the exact same code as before I format my sd card. I can't pinpoint when I did wrong. can someone help me? I use Luma9.1 and I update boot.firm to the one that Nanquitas produced.
 
Well i installed the NEW Boot.firm file and my console will NOT apply the patch it ONLY shuts down and thats it... So i was forced to revert back to my original boot.firm\
\Yes i even renamed my original boot.firm to boot.firm.bak just like you said to do...

Anyone wanna tell me why my console will NOT apply the patch?

OK i finally got it to work! But in order for me to get it to work.. I had to go here

And grab THEIR boot.firm file... Their version worked just fine for me.. The one provided in the OP did NOT work at all for me.. just a little FYI!!!

So i was playing Harvest Moon A New Beginning with the Plugin Loader Enabled and it functioned just fine... However when i decided to play a different game... When i tried to load up that new game the console Froze... It seems that in order for that NOT to happen I need to DISABLE the plugin Loader Before exiting the current game... In order to play a different game without the need to reboot the console...

That normal?
 
Yeah, the OP and the files are outdated. See my previous big post for updated files. This also fixes the weirdness when switching games.
Still doesn't work, i have ultraSuMoFramework 'installed' and it work fine with BootNTR while this just simply doesn't load or show up, Rosalina have the plugin loader enable, the cheat.txt work fine but CTRP refuse to show up whenever i press select. Can it be a conflcit with SuMoFrmwrk ?

The ultraSuMoFramework is in the older .plg format. You'll need badda's unofficial build I linked to earlier for that.

Got the ActionReplay to work but only using the badda (kinda bypass the ultrasumofmk but probably need to be moved into luma plugins for it)

I don't know what I'm missing but I can't get codes to show up in the AR menu. The CTRPF loads for all my games, and pressing select opens the menu, but no cheats show up in Action Replay. I have the ActionReplay.plg in the SD:\luma\plugins\ActionReplay folder and the cheats in the SD:\cheats directory <title ID>.txt but nothing shows up for any games. I verified they are the correct title IDs already so I don't know what the issue is. I'm using the uma3DS 9.1 - Plugin loader.zip & ActionReplay.zip files from the github site here: https://github.com/JourneyOver/CTRPF-AR-CHEAT-CODES. I tried the Luma3DS mod from the OP but I just get a failed patch error when starting my 3DS.

Unfortunately, you can't get those codes out as a "cheat.txt" file because they are constructed inside the plugin itself. You look through the old source code to find some useful hex offsets to use, but it appears to be missing some codes (e.g. walkthrough walls) and most of the functionality will be out there as free standing codes by now anyway.
 
since discord links are all expired..

anyone able to do a quick toss up of what the file structure to use the current ctr looks like? (as in through screenshots or just txt form of what "required" files are in what folder/subfolder?)



I managed to make it work, but i also put basically every file in every location (so idk what worked and didnt) and had a crash after 20min of playing my copy of EON so assuming soemthign is likely conflicting in a bad way and wanna make it proper.

got plugin folder in root, a cheats folder in root, the AR plg in luma folder, etc.)

(p.s. is it bad i took a sick day when I saw it arrive in mail and dumped it?)
