It's a really bad demo though (the complete game is probably bad too), and Europe didn't get Mario and Sonic, America did.
Oh looks like we got it now, oops.

I was really excited about the PSP version, but it was a HUGE disappointment. I can't imagine the gameplay has changed much...

It wasn't that fun, imho.

EDIT: Also, I'm not buying if for 3DS since I already have it for PSP. New graphics be damned.

Do you like puzzle games? Puzzle games are supposed to be challenging which might not always be fun.

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to buy it if it's just a port of the original game.
I would recommend it to puzzle game fans who haven't played it or don't own it yet though.

I don't recommend this game, try the demo and you'll see what style this game is. The whole game has really boring and irritating music which irritates me aaaaa lot. Also the whole game has this freaky but nice art, nice try Sega.

I think this gam deserves a 6/10 since it is something different and it CAN be fun sometimes but they need to have a better plan.

I love puzzle games! (Picross and the like) I just thought it was a really bad kind of puzzle game is all. Not fun. And the story was a little contrived.

So bad. SO bad. I was looking forward to this game too. They need to explain the rules of the game better. It's confusing how you can stand after crushing sometimes but not others.

in the actual game there's a tutorial explaining that solid brick walls won't let you crush against them
they removed it in the demo, the tutorial's a lot longer

I really like the game, I don't understand the hate.
Maybe it is a port, but I never played the original and I really like the clever puzzles.
I'd say it's worth the money. The demo isn't that special, though.

I tried the demo already since I'm in Europe, and I have to say I'm underwhelmed too.
Like already said they did an awful job of elaborating on solid and hollow blocks, and there are other minor quirks that annoyed me.
In particular though I didn't much care for the audio, from the droning music to the protagonists "WAAAHAHAHA" when you clear a stage.
As well as the end-puzzle information and general UI design it just stuck as generic, instead of flowing and being nicely presented like Pushmo.

I'd only pick this up as a bargain bin title, I'm afraid. I would actually like to play and clear this game but not for full retail value, it ain't worth it compared to Pushmo in the least.

i think it's interesting enough. i don't have much misgivings with audio or graphics, as i have liked and loved far less worthier titles, solely out of gameplay (Settlers DS for one, could never get past that fatal bug though, this game just takes too long to finish in one sitting).

Not sure if the art style is the same as the original PSP game, but ew.... The gameplay itself, though, is very good. It's obviously very creative, but it also seems very well balanced. Getting to the exit isn't a big deal in the demo, but nabbing some of those extras requires a bit of extra fiddling. I'll probably rent it at some point. Again, the presentation is a pretty big letdown, but it's worth playing through on a weekend or something.
