Im really looking forward to this game alot, i think we may all be surprised by it. Although not to be compared to the console version, as its not the same game, i think this will do well.

Just been playing abit of Brothers in arms ds, had only played the first couple of stages, and if the same game engine has been used, i dont see why we shouldnt all enjoy playing a more mature themed game, with darker graphics and mood.

Me being a 31 year old player and dont get me wrong, i love the wide variety of games available for the ds from brain training to all the Nintendo games, its nice to get a game which is somehow abit more mature like dementium, Brothers in arms, hotel dusk, etc.

Just my thoughts, i for one am hoping this gets dumped very soon!!!

I agree. Although, like some other people, I think that the console version was... crap. Well, not totally crap, but incredibly, incredibly overhyped. So people were thinking they were going to get this super-amazing game, and were disappointed. No-one's expecting this game to be super-amazing, so chances are it WILL be better than people assume...

And to assume is to make an ASS out of U and ME.

Thats true mate, to be honest, i just think title such as this only help the hype of the ds, not that it needs it, but it bring more and more people to the platform.

Im sure there were alot of people who really loved the console version and are just dying to get there hands on this, even if that means they have to go and buy a ds to see how the story begins.

I for one think Nintendo have done a wonderful job with the DS and the Wii both of which i own, i never really got the whole next gen graphics thing as its still the same old same old gameplay. Theres still an awful lot of thing which can be done with Nintendos two platforms and i believe the best is still to come from both.

But I've got a feeling that Altair's Chronicles is going to disappoint some folks. I hope I'm wrong, but the combination of Ubisoft and the DS doesn't give me much hope.

That said, I'm a sucker for an action game on the DS, so I'm looking forward to it as much as the next guy / gal.

I put zero faith in any of that. There are ads for the game plastered all over Gamespot, and usually they don't start doing banner ads for a game on their site unless the game is either out already or due for release within a few days time. I'm fairly confident we'll see the game either later today or tomorrow. But next month? Doubtful.

I checked Gamestop.....they list it as released, but no stores within a 200 mile radius of my area code has it.

Same with that other game....what's it called....Spidershit Chronic or something like that....nobody has it. Of course NO ONE is seriously expecting Spider-whatsis to be good anyway.
