Thank God it's dumped. Now to spend 3 hours looking for it

My favourite part of dumping... not!
lol

It was basically online at any given torrent site within 60 min of being posted here, now thats dedication to the scene!

Well, I've only played a small portion of it, of course -- up to the first cutscene -- and it's...okay. There's a lot that the game has going for it, but it also exhibits many of the symptoms you might have come to expect from Ubisoft. The framerate is...ew, and the collision detection is somewhat questionable. Also the controls take a bit getting used to because Altair does most of the work for you as you merely guide him. But the mini games are pretty cool. Pick-pocketing is less gimmicky than I'd anticipated, though the interrogations are a blatant rip-off of EBA / Ouedan.

The game seems to be set up to be very linear, but I think it's going to be a fun game, all the same. Can't say it does much better (so far) than Pirates of the Caribbean did on the DS, although the sword play is certainly much more entertaining. I especially like the counter-attack moves. If you counter and get a dude on the ground, you can then do an instant kill on him while he's down.

More later...

P.S. -- The load times are abhorrent.

It's an OK game. It was a little irretating at first as he moved strangely against the wall but after you get the climbing skill it's good most of the part.

I agree with you very much. I've played it for ~2 hours, and it's pretty meh for me. Still entertaining though. I just don't get one thing though..how come when you're walking the controls absolutely SUCK..and are very coarse..but when you jump/are in a battle..it's automatically much better. I also hate that you can't really explore much, not very much open world.

All in all, pretty good game. Maybe a 7/8 out of 10..more towards 7. Planning to beat it tomorrow, wonder how long it is :\

Tip: Turn the Hints off in the start menu to make it a bit more challenging..I was wondering at first why the game was telling me where to go and everything. Now I have to do trial and error to figure it out. A little better

Hmm...that sounds like a good idea. I didn't know it would turn off that green arrow; I thought it was only for instructing you about what the controls and combos were.
