Is it possible to put an mp3 in the backround and play the song by creating notes that go with the song??

Yes, i'm not sure if it works with GH:WT but it works with GH3 so i guess it works with WT too....
just google it, should say how to do it

I think he means the custom song creator in-game, it's not possible in there.
