Is it possible to create fake tickets for games downloaded with NUSDownloader?

Most of the Wii games I want on my console have been released on eshop, but only a few of them have tickets. It just hit me that now that we have HBC there must be a way to create a fake ticket, like the HBC has? As Wii games have to be launched with sigpatches anyway it wouldn't matter.

Would be super convenient to launch all Wii games from Wii U menu, and take advantage of the games compatible with GamePad.

Hey, just so you know my application Wii U USB Helper automatically creates fake tickets for VC/DLC and eShop games :)

I'm using it with a rar pack for Wii U titles. It's super sweet. But how do I get it to show all titles available on NUS without a ticket?

For it to work you have to use the application with the title key site. Just hit the 'Change tickets location' button and then input the address to that site at the bottom of the window :)

Sure. But "that site" doesn't have all Wii games I want. The one I'm thinking of the most is RE4 us version as I heard that works with the GamePad (eu version doesn't).

Then you're gonna have to wait for someone to upload the title key. This is the only thing you need to create a fake ticket but you just can't make one without it since it is required for your wii u system to be able to decipher the game and install it. (You can generate a title key though if you are the one packing the content, such as a custom HB channel)

Ok. That explains it.

EDIT: Feel free to close this. Questions answered.

Does this mean I can us the Title key site and download/install VC and eShop games just like Wii U titles using the RAR file?

Are Wii games(RE4, Kirby etc) considered VC/eShop games?

It says CFW ONLY when the game is highlighted. Does this mean all these game are unplayable with using solely the Brazilian method? Meaning they require rednand of cfw?

1) yes, this title key site has most of the tickets you will need.

3) These games require signature patches. You can use a simple signature check patcher (by dimok), cbhc with autoboot to system menu(by fix94) or mocha (by dimok) to play these games. I personally prefer cbhc, as this autoboots the cfw on startup and it is really fast. But it is also the most dangerous option (chance of bricking your console, if you dont take care enough during the installation or if you dont block updates correctly).

So I can just use the signature patch checker, fix the files and then install? or do I need a cfw?

Fwiw FunKiiU and my GUI aka FunKii-UI also handle fake ticket creation rather easily

If you execute the sig checker patch, you will temporarily have a cfw. So, you apply the patch and you will be able to install your titles.
However, you will have to execute the patch everytime you want to start your title. After a reboot, you will have an unpatched system again.

This is the reason, why I prefer cbhc. This autoboots the patch on every boot.

Hi! i need help with this theme too.
I'm trying to install Mario Sports Mix Wii EUR, but "that site" doesn't have the ticket, i downloaded it with NUSgrabber and JNUSTool GUI and then i made the fake ticket with a program with the Title ID and the Title Key. But i couldn't decrypt it (for check if its good) with New NUS Grabber GUI and i couldn't install it with SCT and WUP Installer Y Mod. I did this with FunKiiU:
Code:
funkiiu.py -title 00050000101B1B00 -key xxxxxxxx -ticketsonly
But for this i need to put -key, -onlinekey or -onlineticket, this hasn't got online keys/ticket and if i put the key (fake) i will do the same that before.
So i decided to download it directly with fake ticket with FunKiiU but i put a fake title key and i couldnt install it.
Why? I did it in redNAND with signature patches
Bye!

As Hikari06 says:

You can't arbitrarily create a decryption key. That would be like trying to unlock a door with a carrot.

Is there a simple and very fast way to check if the title key is correct ?
For NUS titles, you can use jnustool.
Code:
j:\jnustool>java -jar JNUSTool.jar 000500001019d800 12345678901234567890123456789012 -file lolz
Good Key output:
Code:
JNUSTool 0.3 - by Maschell
