there is a 'pixely' green screen that flashes for a second before the video starts up. Once the video starts the quality is great. FYI, the non-compressed dol can be installed on preloader 0.30 (but I had to install the compressed version on 0.29).
There are a few bugs that can be improved upon, I'll list them below, but before I do, I just want to say that even if these dont get fixed, it is still one of the coolest programs for the wii I've ever seen! I know u said this would be your last release, but plz consider making a new release!
Thanks for the feedback!
QUOTE(xflak40 @ Nov 4 2009, 04:53 PM) Bugs/potential improvements
-allow 2nd, 3rd and 4th players to make a selection (currently, only first player can skip the video, and the first player during the intro is always the last wiimote to be synced to the system, even if its fourth player when accessing the system menu)
CrazyIntroVideo uses Crazy Intro's code base for config stuff & key handling, so when I fix this issue for Crazy Intro, hopefully I can release it also for video version
-USB & SDHC Support
Possibly will not happen but who knows, due to fat code being in the precompiled static libs
-support forwarding to SD/USB apps (like crazy intro 0.8)
That's also possible since again it's the same codebase, it's omission due to buggy dol/elf loader and the possible increase in the dol size
-remove green screen flash (I can live with it if I have to, lol)
That's one hell of a nuisance, it works ok when launched from hbc but somewhat occurs when the dol booted from preloader. I already wasted lots of time on it to solve... to no avail... expert knowledge needed for this issue. I believe it's caused by the dollz3 compressor, I might be wrong though.
