Rename it as firmware.bin and put it into luma folder.

Also put it into luma.

Launch your 3DS + SELECT button. Select "Enable loading FIRMS" and start.

Because I assume that you've had the luma folder and the boot.firm into your SD Card. What you may try is to update your Luma installation on the emuNAND SD card or put the 8.1 boot.firm on the CTRNAND.
