Well, I cannot figure out what is the actual cause of data corruption. I need testers.

If M3 releases new Kaura, I can test with it if the issue has something to do with Sakura 1.44...

>DScovered -> general extlink wrapper -> inilink -> TouchPod kernel switcher(MoonShell2reset) -> TouchPod.nds (sakura format) -> TouchPod -> startnds(auto boot to ROM)
Well, I use another chain:
DScovered -> general extlink wrapper -> mshl2wrap -> inilink -> TouchPod kernel switcher(MoonShell2reset) -> TouchPod.nds (sakura format g6dsload) -> TouchPod(menu.***) -> startnds(auto boot to ROM)
The chain is longer, but here mshl2wrap fallback to internal homebrew loader, so loading homebrew is OK.

That's one hell of a work around just to use DScovered on an m3

I am willing to test if you like. I have an m3i zero and a spare 2gb microsd card.
I can test too I have:
M3ii Zero+8gb
G6 Real

When I use the akaio_loader.nds or whatever, the one you put on megaupload, It flashes black and white, shows akaio for a split second, then goes to "Unable to read filename, this file is not meant to be loaded outside of DScover"...?

I edited my AKAIO cover so the font is bigger and comes out clearer, I have yet to test it though...

Are you replacing your d_system/loader_akaio.nds with it, or trying to load from the menu?

I have started using Infranview for the resizing and bitdepth changing of the covers. The results are a looking lot better.
If you look at one of these compared to some of the game covers from DScovery they are not as blurry and the colour variance is a lot better, especially noticeable with the Nintendo logos.

Darkmario: Your oringinal cover looks great no need to increase text size.
Lanulus: Thanks for the other cover it looks great.
Spinal: I'm not sure if we can work out what filters infranview is using and work them into DScovery.

edit: Just checked and infranview does not support any scripting or macro functions unfortunatly. It does have a batch converter though.

DScovery.exe seems to be working like DSTT menu. It sorts games in the order when they were added. It is easy to fix it by moving games to another folder and back but sorting by name, time and manually wouldn't be too bad

Are you doing stylus control to this? Just thinking that DSision1/2 have that (and clock and slideshow). Friend also said it would be cool if you could draw on covers

I made theme but how can I change bottom background?

Strange, it worked fine for me.
Why don't you start from scratch? Format the SD. Install a fresh copy of everything and see how it goes. Make sure the settings in DScovered are correct. Ensure 'Soft Reset' and 'Load Homebrew Externally' are set to on, and the loader is set correctly.

I'm more than happy with the output of DScovery.exe, that image converter took me quite a while to figure out. Palette reduction in general is a very complex task, especially when the perceived quality of the output image depends an many factors.

The following conversions use a very similar conversion algorithm, I had to change it to reduce the calculation time, but the results are still good. Rmember, you are only going to look at the images for a couple of seconds.

Basically what I'm trying to say, is it took me a lot of time and effort to get the image quality as good as it is and I don't intend on doing all of that work again.

I formatted and did everything right this time with the akaio_loader.nds, but I still get my error.

Any chance I'm doing anything wrong? I have the file in the _d folder, and I selected it with that program that comes with DScover, then I try to load it in Coverflow, but error?

Yeah mate! I realized that when I saw you had done it all from scratch. Didn't mean to offend thats why I said "I'll get my coat." Just a light way to say "Sorry! I'll back off."

If you go to help in akMenu. What is your HW version?

Well I can't get into the AkMenu...?

Well I tried, I got rid of the current "akmenu4", and then changed "akmenu" into "akmenu4" again, so it's ignoring DScover and boots right into AKAIO, but then I get the same stupid error.

>_>?

This is getting annoying now.

Delete the globalsettings.ini and see if it loads.

Still an error.
Ok, follow this, I have just re-built mine with RC2 and it works fine
1) Format SD
2) Download akAIO-RC2 and copy all to SD :thanks to Normatt and akAIO crew
3) Rename akmenu4.nds to akmenu.nds
4) Download dscoverd and copy akmenu4.nds and d_system folder to SD card :thanks to Spinalcord
5) Download new loader and copy to SD:/d_system :thanks to Spinalcord and Xenon++
6) copy on games
7) run DScovery.

Should now work.
