I have no problem in making it work with ysmenu, as for other loaders, I don't know of any that work in the same way.

If anyone knows any carts who's firmware can be loaded as a .nds file and that can autostart a game by putting its filename into a .ini, then please let me know.
I know there is a AKAIO loader for Moonshell 2

@Spinal:
xml files are normally easy to handle.
I think it wouldnt be hard to read a xml file on start of the app.
It would be faster than reading the complete card.
You could add something like a button to rewrite the xml and the pc app could also do this.

But if you dont think its a good idea then leave it out

. Ok you are doing what you want anyway.
I like your Idea...
Are you going to release the source (i dont think that you will release it, but its a try to ask for it)

Anyway I like your DS Homebrew.

Maybe you didn't noticed

Just a few questions: Would it be faster than the Moonshell2+YSMenu combo? Could you add an option to hide folders and just view .nds files at the root of the card? Would it have cheat support, .sav management, copy, paste, delete etc?

faster than moonshell + ysmenu = maybe, who knows.
cheat support = very unlikely
.sav management = how do you mean?
copy, paste, delete etc. = I don't know yet, depends how hard it is to implement.

I was hoping to have an alpha release by now, but I have been playing guitar hero too much, sorry guys.

for .sav management maybe a way to back up saves and rename them

Yeah, Guitar Hero

Wow this is looking really nice. DO you think it would be possible to do a a 3D or even pseudo-3D box, sorta like wiiflow has? that would make it seem more polished...er...well...at least to me. Anyway, Keep up the good work.

How to import covers for Coverflow DS.

1. Launch the coverflow app.
image1op.jpg

2. Insert usb card reader and press the 'Refresh' button
image2qg.jpg

3. Select the drive letter of the card you wish to use. At this point, the app will search your entire card for .nds files. This may take a little time, depending on how many files are on the card.

4. Once the file list is loaded, you may select any of the files in the list. The cover art window will show the cirrently assigned art for that file. If there is no cover art asigned, or you wish to change the current art, press the 'browse' button.

5. You can now select an image to use as that files cover art. You may also copy+paste the url of an online image.

6. Now, your new cover will be assigned. The image conversion will take a couple of seconds, slightly longer if your image comes from the web (download time of the image).

(edit:changed quote to spoiler)

Does this mean there is a download somewhere???

What would be nice is to make the games actually look 3d and not like a sheet of paper.
I know this would mean finding the back and the side but is there not a site for that?
