Good idea but if the boxes had a 3d effect like on the side it doesnt have to have the real spine of the box it could just be written nintendo ds it would make it sexy but still great hope you find a way to load roms in acekard 2i

Very nice idea. With this people dont have to dwell on Filipino soup.
it's actually based on the Filipino dish, not the Mexican one

wow looks shiny keep working on it.
just one question, will this load commercial roms? if not, thats kinda pointless since most of the homebrews dont have a cover

Most likely I will do that same with this as with DSison2, so it will probably load commercial games through ysmenu on the R4 and TTDS.
so this will be useless for acekard users? =/ maybe you can do something to use normmatts akaio loader for moonshell?
Doesnt YSMenu work on Acekards?

BTW: This looks awesome, keep up the good work Spinal

hmmm looks really nice. i think you should carry on and see where it will lead.
this going to be like a Dsision3? loads games using ysmenu?
how would users download covers? would there be a download function on the app?

The first 4000 ish covers will be provided in the download, but after that, your on your own. The app currently allows you to load an image from your harddrive, (or even online, by copy+pasting the image address in the file browser) then it is resized and added to your cache.

If anyone wants to keep an online collection of covers, pre-converted for this, that is fine, but sadly I wont be doing that.

if you could find out a way to use any card loader instead of just ysmenu loader for commercial games (e.g.: on M3i use m3i loader) so you could get the extra features, then i would try. untill then count me out. (cool idea though. been waiting for something like this.)

I have a suggestion, You should make it work similarly with music.

And please try to make the cd borders customizable.
Like the cd borders in this image:

Looks great! You could try and load commercial roms on Acekard 2 by loading the game through moonshell and then the AKAIO loader. This sounds complicated, but I believe it might be easier than integrating the AKAIO loader directly.
