ive tried CF on a non SDHC card and still getting the same results as before but now i can get further thru the loading process before a code dump i will post if as soon as i can.

is there any way to use the channel without having the sd card in the wii? like usb loader gx... i dont care for the covers as of yet but i have stuff on my memory card that i use for other applications.

i have the channel for 1.1 installed but whenever i load it without the memory card, all i get is a code dump

From reading the thread over the past couple of days it looks like this loader is having some problems with the release of cIOS 14.

Is that correct?

I use CoverFloader and Configurable USB Loader and was going to install cIOS 14 because I heard that it has resolved the issue of having to reset the Wii before switching to a new USB game, but if I'm going to have problems with CoverFloader I think I may wait.

Can you confirm this and if it is true, I'm sorry and I hope you guys figure it out, it's a great loader.

I had to step back and take a moment. Everyone stating that coverloader does not work..well your plain wrong. It works fine ..not perfect..but just fine.
This includes using cIOS rev 14

If you have code dumps/freezes, do the following.
Turn off the Wii(You have to really)..TURN OFF THE HDD

If it was just me using the loader then that would be fine, but it's not my wife plays games , much more then I do (strange it's usually the opposite) and if things don't go exactly as they should I am sure to hear about it and I don't really need that.

Well sorry about your luck mate, I don't know what else to tell you other than it is not the loader. Everything works fine everytime...current cIOS, current Sys menu, current Loader. Hope you get it to work.

or it is the loader as alot of ppl are claming it doesnt work with rev 14, i even updated my SM to 4.1e and still made not difference, i put just the app on a standard SD(NOT SDHC) still didnt work, unplugged HDD then loaded CF (EXPECTING IT TO SAY NO HDD CONNECTED) but still code dumped at the loading screen.

LOL give it a whirl..if it don't work (which it will) Just tell her it was my fault. It starts up for me NO different than it has.

Well constantly saying it doesn't work(and this is no way pointed at you...just in general), gives off the wrong impression and folks like Sacohen9665 are unsure to use it.

That statement will say everything...but constantly people keep saying it doesn't work. It does ...bottom line. Again, sorry it's not working FOR YOU. But it does work.


Now as you are on Pal, I can't help much as I am on NTSC-U. There shouldn't be a difference but maybe there is...seems more PAL folks are having issues.

Sorry I couldn't help get you going..maybe someone on PAL who has gotten it to work...can help out on this one.

Was trying everything else before and nothing worked. Took the files off my 4 gig sdhc card and copied to another sd card and now works everytime. Looks like rev 14 and coverflow are a little picky with sd cards now. All other loaders i used worked no problem except for coverflow but now all good.

doesnt work for me ive tried 5 - 6 cards now( NONE SDHC), i'll just wait for a proper release when most of the bugs are ironed out

It works fine for me on my 4.1E Wii with rev14 installed. Every game I have loads fine first time every time and its my kids that use it not me

Ive already submitted this issue to the google code site. Its an issue with both the loader and cIOS 14. If you downgrade to rev13, the issue is no longer there.

Im sure this will be fixed in the next release (the loader).

The first is built from the SVN revision 869 and is therefore bleeding edge:

tested both dols and my 4gb sdhc sandisk is working perfect with coverfloader

also i like the news icon thing in the top left with the bleeding edge version. very nice touch so can keep up to date with changes. is it dynamic and updates thru wifi?
