2 things..

1) sometimes when it loads a cover or 2 look garbled, like blocky bits are missing.

2) you can turn parental lock back off, by reseting the display options!!!!! as the kids found out

I have 5.1 installed and love all the work you guys have poured into this project, it looks amazing!

one question hopefully someone can answer, has there been any discussion of changing Left & Right on the D-Pad to act as simple Previous and Next buttons instead of having to hold down a direction to move through the covers (or at least an option)?

I've tried to read through the majority of this thread and the issues listed on the google code page, but haven't seen any one mention it (I'm probably just blind and missed it

).

We have discussed this. We were going to put this feature on the plus/minus buttons but they're earmarked for another feature now. Maybe this will be configurable behaviour for left/right in a future release. You should raise an enhancement request on the issues page

RC 1.0 has just been cut. Its the candidate for the first stable release; so still may be some issues; but all in all, a pretty good build (IMHO)

I've found it as easy as avoid Western Digital like they have airbourne HIV

finally gave this loader a go. Been waiting for this to have a release or close to it before trying. THIS THING ROCKS!!!!!!




@ekolimits: I have a 500 gig western digital passport that works great so for with all loaders ive tried

The RC is great, though I'd have two minor suggestions. If parental controls are turned on, it'd be nice if the settings button vanished from the lower left corner and from the "per-game" settings button vanished. It'd also be nice if up and down on the d-pad didn't change the amount of zoom if parental controls are on.

I know it's anal but I have it looking the way I like it on my TV (zoomed in further and spread wider so that it fills most of my widescreen TV) and I don't want any of my relatives messing with it when they play.

Take a look at this, you need to change the Power Managment Tool. Not quite sure how because I did not need it but it is worth a try.

Having a cube controller plugged in is causing a crash for me.

After it finishes starting up, the games flash on screen for a split second, then I get a changing, flickering code dump, then the screen goes black and my speakers make a horrible buzz.

I've had no problems with every other beta.
