I have had a hacked wii for quite a while, and I have gotten pretty good at updating and fixing problems I run across, so I do not consider myself a newbie exactly. I use USBLoaderGX to manage my backups, but there are 2 words that I see a lot, but have never taken the time to learn what they are, NAND and EMUNAND. Could someone please explain what they are to me, or at least point me in the right direction?

The NAND is the flash memory used by the Wii for System files such as Channels and system settings and such. EmuNAND is an emulated NAND which allows you to have more storage (as the real NAND only has...512mb? I think).

depends which type of emunand you use, they can be used on either sd or usb

When u start Usbloader and before u start a game, there is a "button" can push to get to settings and in there is a button u can click that says Extract saves to EmuNand. I think my son pushed this button. Because his saves on LEGO Pirates of the Carribean is gone. for example: he hade about 87,3% on LEGO Pirates, know it shows 0,0% on all four save slots. How do i do to return the saves to the Nand, so the saves shows in the game again?

sounds to me more like he just turned on the NAND emulation itself...are you sure that setting isn't on? (go into the game's options, to the third page and see)
