I've just purchased a few corrupted Wii Us online, and there's one Wii U that was said to have the 160-0101 error code only. I'll also add that I have no Gamepad right now. Turns out all the pins were bent on the HDMI port. It displayed once but never again. My question is, is there ANY way to switch to the AV output without the Gamepad? I've done UDPIH on the other consoles, is there something in that software that would allow me to make the switch? Thank you!!!

UDPIH has WUP server, with that you can set the console to connect to your Wifi without booting into the OS. Then your can use wupclient written in python to download and upload files on system NAND. See the UDPIH/recovery menu thread for details.

The config file for HDMI is here, note the path is different than the one you see using FTP under cfw.:
/vol/system/proc/prefs/AVMCfg.xml

The following is the one using HDMI, thing is, I do not know what value should be for AV output, you have to try or search...
XML:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<AVMCfg type="complex" access="7777">

  <port type="string" length="15">HDMI</port>

  <tv_resolution type="string" length="15">TV_1080P</tv_resolution>

  <audio_channel type="string" length="20">TV_AUDIO_STEREO</audio_channel>

  <enable_sv type="unsignedByte" length="1">0</enable_sv>

  <enable_cec type="unsignedByte" length="1">0</enable_cec>

  <aspect_ratio type="unsignedByte" length="1">1</aspect_ratio>

  <tv_vendor_id type="unsignedShort" length="2">0</tv_vendor_id>

  <tv_product_id type="unsignedShort" length="2">1</tv_product_id>

  <tv_user_gamma type="unsignedByte" length="1">0</tv_user_gamma>

  <mode type="string" length="10">MANUAL</mode>

  <version type="unsignedShort" length="2">11</version>

  <under_scan type="unsignedByte" length="1">0</under_scan>

  <enable_rca type="unsignedByte" length="1">0</enable_rca>

  <edid_checksum type="unsignedByte" length="1">67</edid_checksum>

  <content_type type="unsignedByte" length="1">4</content_type>

</AVMCfg>

I mean assuming you are sure you can get into the home menu, you could probably do DRC SIM. In theory any laptop with 5ghz wifi can run it. That's what I did with my European wii U and I only had Japanese and US wii U tablets before UDPIH was a thing.
