Gaming copying from hard drive to removable drive

Ok usually when you move a file from the hard drive to a removable on the computer creates a temporary file. Can I stop the computer from doing this because I need to move this file to my removable drive but my hard drive doesn't have the space to create a temporary. I can't really delete any files as this isn't really mt computer and I don't want to delete something that may be imortant. The file is like 4gb big and I really need it off the hard drive on my flash drive. all help is apperciated if this is possible.

Have you tried disabling write caching?

The write caching thing didn't work any other option

EDIT-If someone could just tell me how to move this file so I can burn it and play it.....
