Hacking Convert saves, no CFW?

Quick question, is it possible to convert a USA save to EU WITHOUT the need for custom firmware?
In case you're wondering i've got a PSP-2000 with 3.67 OFW.

i think saves are compatible with no save modding

Depends on the game. Many are compatible, some aren't. The PSP looks for saves based on the game ID which is the game save's folder, so you can change that and see if it works.

I don't think so (if I'm wrong then please correct me). Think it's more about trial and error. But there might be a list somewhere that says which games it works for but I don't think so.

Decrypt the save and hex edit it.... Trust me when i say google is your friend..

AFAIK the only way to decrypt is with a plugin, and he's on OFW.

then CFW or hen it..... downgrading afterwards or whatever is possible.. I personally see no reason to stay that low.. POPs maybe but theres a loader for that..

EDIT: Just read question fully and all i can say is no without CFW or a HEN.. Can i ask why you would have your fw on that version and no CFW to boot?

Out of curiousity, why is it necessary to have CFW to convert PSP saves?

Because often it relies on loading unencrypted data.
