You must be mistaken. You can update as many times as you want using this method. In fact, I plan on doing so as soon as a new firmware update is available. I'll just be certain my jig is working and that I'm holding volume up after the update completes and reboots. What makes you think it can only be performed once?
Because once you load OFW to 5.1.0 (regardless of launching from RCM or not), the NXLoader will take over and write over your fuses as it's meant to from a firmware update. At least that's how it sounds to me. I'm not a dev, just a network guy haha. I suppose update me once the next update is in place and let me know if you're fuses are still in place, that would be good to know!
Edit: I suppose you could also test this straight away by booting into OFW right now and seeing if you're fuses are still in tact afterwards.
