Whether Block IOS Reload is set to on, off, or automatic, this USB loader invariably fails to load games for me. It stays on the "Booting game, please wait" screen indefinitely either after IOS 249 loads or after it blocks the IOS Reload.

That is why i mentioned CFG version, the one you mentioned in your edit is getting a bit old...try the latest one.

When I load it, it displays 70r51 and the file on my SD card is cfg70MODr51.dol
wow, you were.....too quick, please read my previous post, i edited it after i saw you edited your post too.

Edit: looking at the rev. i don't think a newer version will help..
Maybe you should try reinstalling your cIOS...preferrably D2X v8 or higher

Edit2: maybe also try a clean CFG mod install...some settings might be corrupt.

(if it still fails, i hope a CFG expert can anwer, i am a Wiiflow user...)

I get the same result across all of my games with this loader and there are people who have reported success using this USB HDD on this site, so I suppose I could try reinstalling cIOS, though I have done that a couple times. I currently use d2x-v10-beta52 and have listed the results of a syscheck in the thread I posted about Kirby, the first game I tried. I mistakenly installed cIOS to IOS251 and IOS252, would this be causing the problem?

There is someone else who has this HDD and is having a similar problem on this site even though the device compatibility guide reports it working fine. It's pretty odd.

IOS slot does not matter as long as the base is good, normally base 56 and 57 are used.
But...maybe CFG does not check higher then 250...
Normally D2X is installed in slot 249 with base 56 and in slot 250 with base 57.
BTW, if you think you have problems with hdd detection you might want to try d2x v10alt.

I also installed it in 249 with base 56 and 250 with base 57 after I made my mistake, so I corrected that and USB Loader GX runs games from slot 249, but CFG Loader will not. I've never had a problem with CFG Loader detecting my HD or my games, but it hangs when trying to load the actual Wii games, stored in the wbfs folder on an NTSC drive.

I did a search in this thread for "accessible" and couldn't find anything, so sorry if its been talked about.

I'm trying to download the covers for my games using my usb with this loader and it keeps telling me the sd card isn't accessible. In the beginning when it asks me which device I'm using, I put usb. Was there something I did wrong somewhere? I'm not home to check but I believe I have the latest version. I was able to download the covers on wiiflow though so I don't think my hdd is bad. Thanks

Just tested neek2o plugin and it looks like it's not working (swords and soldiers launch as if mighty plugin is selected and is stuck on black screen after intro)
Also noticed "Back" button on home menu is very close to "shutdown" (not sure if this is a theme issue or not - using stripes btw)
so do we need an extra line for neek2o mode or what

P.S. while loading neek2o mode I can read in the verbose output "launching mighty.dol"
I've updated the plugins internally using the online download feature

thanks again

Hello, everyone. I've been using the configurable USB loader for a while, and I've been able to boot every disc I use except for dual layer discs. Everytime I try one, I get an error message that says "Ret = -2"... I've looked around for a solution, but I can't seem to find one... I was hoping someone here would be able to help? :)

Hey, I have a question about the Channel Loader for CFG USB Loader.. I cant find my code to go back to the loader after exiting the game..

I have a file called "CFG Loader NF - DNCL.wad" but i dont know if thats what's currently installed, I tried DNCL, UCXF, FDCL, DCFG but none of them worked.. Setting it to "Auto" doesnt work either

I have 2 wii's and on one the CFG Loader has a picture of an anime girl and plays some sort of techno music, and the other has red & black background moving past and the CFG Switch, and plays a low & slow Mario World tune..

I guess there is no way to find out what loader I'm using and what its ID is?

So I guess I'm looking now at reinstalling a Channel loader for CFG Loader, does anyone know the best, most standard, safest Channel Loader? Most of the DL links I've found have been down..

any other options? take it back to the shop where the guy installed it and ask him for the codes, i guess?

Anyone know of any 'Wii-System Information Tool' that can load from SD and read & display Loader Channel Version Info, etc?

Thanks

when you say "Every Disk" are you loading actual disks into the wii? or are you loading from USB? and are you using wbfs?

i think D2x works best installing 56 into 248 and 57 into 247.. leaving 249 & 250 for other builds like cIOS38, as well as having all the mload22x's

then I can use 247 for COD Black Ops, and 249 altdolmk7 for MK Armageddon

where are your config。txt ?sd or usb?

when you say "Every Disk" are you loading actual disks into the wii? or are you loading from USB? and are you using wbfs?

I'm using the physical disks - I find it easier to carry around my backups in disc form. I've burned them on as ISO, I don't think you can burn wbfs onto a disc, correct?
