cfg v70a (alpha)
cfg70a.dol
cfg70a-222.dol
(or online update)
Changes:

cfg v70a (alpha)
* updated libraries for improved support of hdd with 4k sectors: (tnx dimok)
libfat r4700, libntfs r10 (ntfs-3g 2011.4.12), libext2fs r15 (v1.0.2)

I don't know if hdd with 4k sectors works properly now, so please test and let me know.
Even if you use wbfs and have a 4k hdd let me know if it breaks it or not.

Hi everyone.

I am running the newest version of CFG loader (69) and it won't get past the first loading screen (the one with v69 249 at the bottom of the screen.) It was working this morning but now it won't load. The drive is mounded (and FAT32) as it is working with MPlayer and many other programs i have tested it with. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks,
DanWeb

cfg v70b (beta)
cfg70b.dol
cfg70b-222.dol
(or online update)
Changes:

cfg v70b (beta)
* Updated devkitPPC to 23
* Updated libogc to 1.8.7
* When clear patches is set to all really disable all game patches,
previously some could still be enabled (anti 002 and some others)
* Fixed GUI Menu display of game options hook type when ocarina is enabled

btw: i'd still like to hear how this works with a hdd 4k sec

2. maybe i don't know, if someone prefers one over the other why not set it in wii settings? Imagine that usually you have it to shutdown, but if you want to use USB port for charging purposes (like wiimote batteries), sometimes it may make sense to just standby. Wouldn't it make sense to make Cfg Usb Loader allow you to make that choice, instead of just doing what is in the settings? Isn't that the point of having these options? For me, it would make sense, but I don't know, what do you think?
Good time to add this option?

@oggzee: I know this is a minor glitch, but maybe it can be fixed in a future version, no? Still present in v69d.
maybe, yes.
And this?

Seems I am having some problems with 70b. I found that when selecting a game there is at least a 5 sec delay now before the game starts to load. Also when I was downloading missing covers (which I don't have alot) I got a stack dump. Sending to you Oggzee.

Thanks, the clear patches option still got the problem if I select the game again that everything is selectable

The ocarina hook type works fine now.

@ScoobyDoo3rd:
I don't have a delay, everything runs smooth like always. The codedump if you download missing covers is most likely random, simply try it again.

Hmm, I don't get any delay.
Also I can't reproduce the crash when downloading covers.
For into, the stack dump you sent me is this:
CODE_putc_r
PNGU_DecodeTo4x4RGBA8_EX
format_URL
Download_URL
Download_Cover_Style
Maybe you have a corrupted image or something, or maybe try running disk check of your sd card and hdd, for any filesystem errors, just to be sure...

FIX94: you're right about gui game options / clear patches = all. Fixed.

option to save theme changes from gui?

ATM you have to go to global options in console. Correct me if I'm wrong...

As usual Oggzee you where right the hdd had errors

CHKDSK is verifying files (stage 1 of 3)...
7 percent complete. (28135 of 40192 file records processed)
Deleting corrupt attribute record (128, "")
from file record segment 31542.
40192 file records processed.
File verification completed.

Thanks, again! Your the best!

I follow thinking that CFG USB Loader must show only the languages supported by the specific Game and not a static list like now.

Thanks

Only thing I'm having trouble with no is displaying the list of cheats on SSBB and another game that I forgot the name of.
Theres too many cheats to display so it crahes out.

Anything we can do about this?

It's really nice to acknowledge that you are really improving this app and listening to the community. Once more, sincere congratulations!

No pressure at all (don't get me wrong), but are you considering making this change/enhancement to the app (even if in the future)? This is one of those options you have in other apps (like SaveGame Manager GX or USBLoader GX), which is REALLY useful.

oggzee,, there is a problem with 0.70b2 if you load CFG through Postloader.
I got errors about intro,, some codes and reload in 60 seconds.
If load CFG using HBC or CFG-Forwarder no errors!
can you check this plz?
thx a lot

Use a cheat managing application. There's only so much memory that Cfg can spare and there isn't enough to load those huge files. There are other apps on the Wii and PC that will create the compiled .gct for you. If you have that, Cfg will load it up and apply the cheats just fine by selecting the Ocarina option with no need to manage cheats again in Cfg.

Can you post the dump screen?
What is the latest version that still works?
Maybe also post this error in the postloader thread?
and it's not 0.70 but just 70.
