p.s. my original forwarder from a couple of years ago was called "USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad" is this version still being updated as i do not know who wrote it.
My images from the loader working can be seen from here http://gbatemp.net/t147638-configurable-us...t&p=3273104
The new forwarder that supports meta.xml, as linked in the first post of the thread, is based off of your old one, so just upgrade to it. You might also need to install IOS58 with the IOS58 installer to get it to work.

I am using Configurable USB v60. Is there a change in it that does not allow 249 rev17 anymore? I used to have version 57b7 a while ago and updated to 60. Version 57 allowed 249 rev17 before.

I haven't had to try 249 in a while so it went under the radar. I usually load games with Hermes 222. I want to keep 249 v17 so that I can still use Triiforce.

Is my only answer to downgrade to Config. version 57? Anyone else notice the 249 rev17 lockout? Anyway to tell v60 to allow rev17 again?

v60 still supports rev17. What is your problem exactly? How is your drive formatted? If it is FAT32 or NTFS, then 249 rev17 cannot launch the games on the drive and you should be using v60-222.

When I try and load with 249 rev17 it says I can only use rev18 and higher.

My drive is formatted FAT32. Version 57b7 would launch rev17 for sure.

And yes, I am using v60-222 sorry, for not adding the latter in my last post.

Huh, re-installed 57b7 and same thing. It is saying it won't load below rev18. You know, thinking back, almost all games work with 222. I think when I did get 249 to work, it was when I had installed 249 rev20 for Prince of Persia.

So is there a way to get a game to load rev17 on a FAT32 partition? IMO it is lame to exclude rev17 since I am sure there are a lot of people that don't want to break Triiforce, and yet have almost all games working off 222.

Thanks dr clipper, this is the v of ios58 i have from syscheck IOS58 (rev 6175): No Patches....

would this suffice ?

No, rev17 doesn't work with FAT32 period. Before rev18, oggzee couldn't modify Waninkoko's code to add FAT and NTFS support. If you really want both, just install rev20 into slot 247 or 248.

Hey guys..I just recently switched to CFG USB from USB Loader GX due to problems with my NTFS HDD. I'm liking CFG now that I'm somewhat getting used to all of the options. I've managed to find a theme I like as well as set the launcher to boot up in the list view. My last thing I'm trying to do is switch the Loading image(the image when the program is first booting). Right now it's just the "cfg" but I have an image I'd like to use. How do I change it? thanks.
You only get a choice between three images for the splash, and only then via the intro option in meta.xml. The only way to use your own image is to compile your own version of the loader. We can't make it configurable as the config file is read very late in the process of startup that is occurring behind the splash screen, so it's already too late.

QUOTE(Ratmando @ Nov 22 2010, 08:23 PM) Thanks for the help.

However, still not working.

I've installed the forwarder from the first page via wad manager.

The forwarder is present on my Wii Channel screen.

When I click it it simply restarts the Wii.

I have put cfg60.dol (renamed to boot.dol) in sd:/apps/usbloader and sd:/apps/usbloader and sd:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol
I'm not 100% sure, but you might need to have IOS58 installed for it to work, given the name. You can install IOS58 using the IOS58 Installer. Please report whether it works or not.

Oh,ok. Well thanks for the info. I had just seen a ton of people with this

No. I just downloaded 15 covers from Internet using CFG USB Loader. Probably your SD is fucked (fragmented) up. Do a backup of everything then low level format with Panasonic SD. If that doesn´t work, I just delete all USB CFG Loader stuff (from both apps/USB loader and ROOT:/usb-loader) then do a fresh install of it. (After the Format)

it's extHD.. i had to re download but still missing a few. how do i change time from 24hr to 12hr? there's no option in Global setting to set all game to ntsc?? i only see in the game individual game to chg to ntsc

I got a question about the screenshot above. Is it possible to force cfg v60 to load using ios248/250 as a default & keep ios249 rev14 intact? Reason is I want to keep ios249 rev14 for triiforce and use either 248/250 for COD:BO

too complicated plus i have to set each to ntsc since i have lot of pal and i can't go back to cfg after exiting the game. it go straight to hbc. wiiflow has an option to change in global to ntsc and exit to wiiflow. cfg graphic are very good i would like to keep cgf but not much friendly user

Sorry, I was busy and didn't notice I hadn't answered your post yet. I later edited in a response.

To change the clock to 12 hour time, set clock_style=12 or clock_style=12am. For the global game default, use video=ntsc. Both these options must be added to config.txt, they aren't configurable via the loader. You can use the Configurator application to help you set those and other options, and see more information about configuring Cfg here.

Yes, just use the ios option in config.txt or meta.xml to set the IOS you want to load. Setting it via meta.xml will make it faster as it won't need to switch from the default (249) to the one you select.

Thanks, I know how to change the default IOS via config.txt but how do I do it via meta.xml?

Thanks mate.

I had a problem where opening the forwarder would simply lockup the Wii on a black screen. Installing IOS58 fixed it.

Btw, you still haven't replied if the latest 61b5 fixes your console or not?
