Does it somewhere shows how many games there are installed? If there isn't, is it possible to have this future?
oggzee's memory is a little faulty, it actually does

You need to set hide_hddinfo=0 in config.txt or theme.txt. It will then appear in the footer of the console window, along with how much drive space you are using in total. Note that if you have a FAT drive, it will take a long time to calculate this number, so it is not recommended to have it on your default theme if you have a FAT drive. NTFS drives might also experience the same problem, but perhaps not.

can someone please take a look at the problem I am having? I don't understand why replacing the entire directories still has the same issue? Please advise.

wow... i tried to format my card and just put the usb config on my card again and it still does the same thing. Does it store something within wii memory? I loved this loader and now I have to go back to usbloadergx or something. I push one and this blank screen... It doesn't allow me to config items for games!!!

Hey i tried the 61b4 (latest beta) and my problem went away. So it must just be something with the 60 after using a newer version that caused the problem? Wonder if CODBO works now.. have to test.
Would you please actually learn to read posts? Or at least to search for your name to see if anyone responded to you? I already responded to your identical post on the issue that you made yesterday, telling you about how you missed oggzee's posts about how he corrected your issue back in 61t3.

I was actually responding for you. to let you know that this is what I tried and it solved the problem. I decided not to try your link because there was a new beta. I was going to try your file if it didn't work. Sorry about the quoting problem. I think I have it figured out now. Thanks alot for the help!

I leaning on no, because that intro adds another 50k, while the combined size of the other two is 50k, so if I added that intro it would be a combined size of 100k dedicated for the intro which i think is too much. I could change my mind however, but that's my current oppinion.
I agree with it - it is pointless wasting space on something that is completely unnecessary. There are enough choices of intro currently, it is something that is on the screen for less than 2seconds, afterall.

I have installed the WAD for the forwarder so I have it on my channels list.

Which DOL (cfg60.dol or cfg60-222.dol) do I use and where do I put it on my SD card?

I assume here: sd:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol

So do I have to rename one of the DOLs in the first post to boot.dol?

Thanks
It should do the directory you mention, but it probably does sd:/apps/usbloader as well. If this is your first time using Cfg, use the zipped version of v60 as it gives you the support files you need. Otherwise, rename the boot.dol file as required. You should choose the one that matches which IOS you predominantly want to use. cfg60.dol if IOS249 or cfg60-222.dol if IOS222. Choose cfg60.dol if you don't know.

Thanks for the help.

However, still not working.

I've installed the forwarder from the first page via wad manager.

The forwarder is present on my Wii Channel screen.

When I click it it simply restarts the Wii.

I have put cfg60.dol (renamed to boot.dol) in sd:/apps/usbloader and sd:/apps/usbloader and sd:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol

Hey guys..I just recently switched to CFG USB from USB Loader GX due to problems with my NTFS HDD. I'm liking CFG now that I'm somewhat getting used to all of the options. I've managed to find a theme I like as well as set the launcher to boot up in the list view. My last thing I'm trying to do is switch the Loading image(the image when the program is first booting). Right now it's just the "cfg" but I have an image I'd like to use. How do I change it? thanks.
You only get a choice between three images for the splash, and only then via the intro option in meta.xml. The only way to use your own image is to compile your own version of the loader. We can't make it configurable as the config file is read very late in the process of startup that is occurring behind the splash screen, so it's already too late.

I'm not 100% sure, but you might need to have IOS58 installed for it to work, given the name. You can install IOS58 using the IOS58 Installer. Please report whether it works or not.

One solution could be to look for a file named "splash.png" or whatever in the same dir as the .dol, and use that as a splash screen.

However, I'm not sure if it is worth the effort required.

The initialisation of the USB/SD card also comes too late.

cfg v61b5 (beta)
cfg61b5.dol
cfg61b5-222.dol
(or online update)
Changes:

cfg v61b5 (beta)
* Fixed theme switching (Issue 69)
* Increased max themes from 100 to 300 (Issue 60)
* updated game count when downloading covers to start from 1 (Issue 92)
* Removed boxart.rowdyruff.net from the list of cover urls

call of duty black ops is still stuck in loading screen. what settings should i use?

Hey Ogzee,
i wanted to request a feature to allow me to switch games to 4:3 and 16:9 widescreen as its annoying to keep doing this for certain games like NSMB wii which are widescreen only and since i have a normal sd tv i have bars so i need to switch the aspect ration to 16:9, was hoping if you could add this feature in the game options to allow us to toggle widescreen on and off from cfg.

Just out of curiosity, is there any need to update the forwarder, would my old forwarder work with the new meta.xml that comes with the latest beta...

Also chaps can someone throw some light on to which version of .dol i would need to be able to use 222 fat with my external HD.

and bordering on the insane, what do people think about dropping the horrid b/w loading screen in favor of the red switch logo, or would there still not be enough memory available to do that?

Thanks chaps....

Can anybody help me with the problems that I'm still having with the following games that I'm trying to run on CFG via a 1TB WD Elements hard drive on my softmodded PAL Wii and which won't work properly or at all:

Kirby's Epic Yarn [NTSC] - I get the message "wbfs panic: malloc fst" when trying to launch it from the menu
Samurai Warriors 3 [PAL] - I get a black screen after trying to start a new game from the save slot screen
Rune Factory Frontier [PAL] - Black screen with no game launched at all

Your old forwarder would work, but it would not support the arguments within meta.xml.

The choice of .dol is simple. If you want the loader to startup with IOS249, use the normal releases (e.g., v60). If you want to use IOS222 as your initial IOS, use the -222 releases. Given that we now have forwarders with meta.xml arguments, we will also soon be removing the multi-release versions as they are no longer necessary (you can do the same IOS switch via meta.xml).

Is there any way to delete themes?

CFG is the best loader out there!
Just delete the directorys in the theme dir.

Alright, I was just wondering if there was a way to do it through the Loader itself.

Some more info about COD:BO and libogc incompatibility.
As we know libogc 1.8.4+ doesn't work with CODBO (first confirmed by buddy and FIX94 here)
I did some more testing of various svn revisions between 1.8.3 and 1.8.4 and was able to pinpoint the revision that breaks CODBO to this one:

r4236 | tantricity | 2010-08-09 22:05:23 +0200 (Mon, 09 Aug 2010) | 1 line
usb 2.0 support through ios 58, and other usb improvements/corrections. patch by tueidj.

I still don't know why that breaks CODBO and what would be a proper fix, but maybe someone else might.
Most probably tueidj

Thanks Dr Clipper for the response.... Is there a forwarder you could recommend that could be used with con usb loader please..

p.s. my original forwarder from a couple of years ago was called "USBLoaderCFG_Forwarder-UCXF.wad" is this version still being updated as i do not know who wrote it.
My images from the loader working can be seen from here http://gbatemp.net/t147638-configurable-us...t&p=3273104
