Question: Is there a feature or is it plausible to hope for a feature where the saved data for a game is loaded from and saved to the USB hard drive/SD card ...
its been asked before, but the answer is "that feature would only benefit pirates"...be thankful for what we have, i say.

I don't quite agree with that statement, but I'll just be extremely thankful for what we have and leave it at that.
nor do i, but my best efforts at explaining my viewpoint have fallen on deaf ears, so i licked my wounds and went back to playing my 100+ savegame block creating mysims games.

I assume using a save manager to back up specific saves that I know I'll want to an SD card before heading out would be the best option

Exactly. The save transfer on the Wii is there for the portability aspect, and there are apps already that even bypass the no-copy restrictions that some games have.

Riivolution can redirect save files, if you're a non-pirate.
sweet!

scenario:1. purchased green day rock band disc
2. ripped said disc using cfg usb loader
3. found out of i have no more space on my wii for its save game (argh!)
4. i ragesnap the aforementioned said disc in twainhow can i insert riivolution into the cfg loader process and add a 5. up there that says "tueidj saves the day!"?

I have added Wii Party to my HDD today, but when I search for the cover, it can't find one.
I cann see it on Wiitdb.
The Game ID is SUPP01

Heya, I was wondering what could cause a game to return to the Wii Menu when booting. Everything's been working fine so far, and then I put two more games on my HDD, and both of said games return to the wii menu when I try and boot them. The games don't really have anything in common, so I'm wondering if there's a problem with the actual files on the drive rather then my loader's configuration

Looks like the Wii Party covers were only very recently added to WiiTDB (perhaps between your tests?). Can you try updating them again just to check?

There are several things. Mostly, this is caused as the game reloads the IOS and is either incompatible or needs you to use alternative dols. What games are you having trouble with?

Wii Party's only been dumped for probably a day now? I had to manually install the cover art, but only 2D and 3D images are available at the moment

Nevermind, problem solved. Both games were games that required the alternate dol. I should have done a bit more research before asking. Thanks though!
