hopefully someone can help me out here.

i have an NTSC wii.

i have several PAL games (jillian michaels fitness, wii party, new u) that load up and play perfectly.

the problem comes when i try to exit the game (going back to the wii menu).

the wii crashes and my tv says no signal.

i have to completely power the wii off, and start back up again.

all the games are set to default usb config options.

any ideas or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

thanks!

Hi there,

I have a question and I have been searching for answers on different forums with no luck, anyway I have a loader version 56 (its been a while since I played my wii). Just today I updated it to version 60 (via configurable loader online) and it seems everything was successful and I did not get any error while doing it. My wii is setup to go to configurable loader screen when you boot it and on that screen it shows me the current version "56" instead of "60". So what I did is, I configured the boot process not to go to usb loader screen and instead go to the wii menu. From the wii menu I go to "home brew channel" then "configurable usb loader" and now it shows my current version "60". So my question is,

1. Why am I seeing my old version 56 when I boot directly to "configurable usb loader" and why am I seeing version 60 when I go wii menu>home brew>configurable usb loader?

2. Is there any way I can boot directly to usb loader and see version 60? Or was there something I miss before I upgraded online?

Thanks.

when i go to cheats, i get an error message saying to many cheats. does anyone now how to fix this? i only get this on monster hunter. on rev60

I think you have v60 boot.dol in sd:/apps/usbloader, thus v60 boots trough Homebbrew Channel. And you have CFG USBLoader v56 channel installed in your system menu. I would say to you use a forwarder channel, rather a full channel.

Thanks for the immediate reply and I really appreciate your answer. I'm really too cautious changing setting on my wii as I might accidentally mess it up. So can you give me a step-by-step procedure how I can update the CFG USBLoader on my system menu to v60? How do I use a forwarder channel?

Regards.

Set the individual game options to "force NTSC" ... should solve these issues..

Exception is Wii party PAL as it only works under PAL...

This loader is amazing, thank you so much for your efforts - love it!

Just a quick (and probably silly) question, which of these should I use to get the loader onto my main channel list?

Thanks!

Forwarders:
Priiloader compatible Forwarder (by baduncle): http://priiloader.baduncles.de/forwarder/

Forwarder: CFG USB Loader - DCFG
Hybrid Channel (cfg v56a): CFG USB Loader ID - DCFG
Both by pepx. For more info see his: post
Bump - please, anyone? ;_;

Since I didn't get any further reply, I tried copying the boot.dol from the apps folder and replace the .dol on the root of my SD. Still its showing me v56... I really have no clue how this works or If I'm doing the right thing. I'm still hoping somebody would help me fix this.

Thanks

Sorry, i just got home.
So, first uninstall your v56 channel. In wii's data management > channels, remove it. Or use Any Title Deleter homebrew app, if you want an advanced tool.
So you go for a forwarder, you have one a few posts above, and install it using any wad manager, MMM, YAWM... A forwarder looks like a standard channel, but it loads the boot.dol in the /apps/ folder instead of a bult in app. The good is that you can update the program just by swaping the boot.dol file manualy or by auto-update feature in some apps.
Now, in CFG, you can go to search updates option and it works as intended.

Yo guys, When I try to rip a game it says

split 0: no file
ERROR creating file
Installatio ERROR! (ret = -1)

Using v60, 4.2u, 500gb NTFS hdd, game is LOTR Aragorns Quest. Am I missing something?

any newz about the
return_to_channel = DCFG
command, still doesn't work for me

I find it intermittent, sometimes it returns to CFG and sometimes to the menu, perhaps it's the games I know NHL2K10 always goes to the menu.

I'm having a problem with sid meier's pirates. i'm on v60 of the loader and i tried 222,223 and 224 of hermes 5.1 and waninkoko cios v19. after the warning screen, a white screen came and went and then my wii hangs at a second white screen. i also tried clear patches all but still no dice. anyone have any solutions?

hey again!

im having some trouble with uninstalling games from my NTFS disk,
process:
press (-) for uninstall
press (A) to continue (or smtn to that degree)
and it says that it has completed the process but the game is still there, had to connect the HDD to my computer just to delete, the game in question is "tales of symphonia: dawn of the new world"

im using the latest version (v60)

Hi, i tried two different 2,5 hard drives with 3 different cases - all of them have problems with loading. I always have to unplug/replug the drive to get it recognized. I also tried WBFS, FAT32 and NTFS (FAT32 was working best).

I want to buy a new hard drive to solve this issue now. Can you reccomend a cheap 3,5 hard drive with case with 1-2 TB? And no: this isn't only for Wii-Games ;-)

And another special question regarding NTFS:

Since I switched to another hard drive using NTFS I get this error after staying in the menu for some seconds: http://tinyurl.com/2wdkdyw
I also copied 2 games to the drive - so it could be a non-NTFS-related problem.

I think it has something to do with a cover picture - I deleted all of them and asked cfg-usb-loader to redownload them all and the error did happen again.

Maybe a try-block in the source should help here ;-)
Is there any quick way of finding out which PNG is defect? Or is it really NTFS-related?
