Compiling errors I hate them. Sometimes a missing folder, outdated devkitpro ver, an incorrect cmd path, wrong environment...etc Each person has it's own set of errors. Wish I could help but it's not my field.

I've got round to setting up some profiles today, but they don't seem to do anything different. Am I doing something wrong?

Use one profile, enable ocarina, theme, etc and save then switch to another profile - change values in that profile and switch back to the first and everything stays the same. Do profiles not allow individual settings and themes? From reading it appears that the profiles maybe only for different sets of favourites?

Yes, profiles are only for favourites.

QUOTE(dabotsonline @ May 30 2010, 08:44 AM) Is cfg57b5 compatible with the new Hermes cIOS v5.1?
Not sure. Please try it. In any case, 5.1 still doesn't give you any new features for Cfg.

Quick Questions

I have a FAT32 partition on my HDD

But whenever I start my loader, it says WBFS1 not found.. choose another partition.. when I do that it runs OK then.. does this have to happen everytime? can't it load my FAT32 by default? I am on Version 57b5

If you have just one FAT32 partition on the HDD, add "partition = FAT1" in the config.txt file you find in the usb-loader folder in your SD.

Add partition=FAT1 to config.txt as suggested or save your global settings (push 1 twice and then 2) which will save it in settings.cfg instead.

I've tried v.5.1 and works quite well with Cfg, but I had a problem with Monster Hunter 3 which uses cIOS 223 and I wasn't able to make it work with 223 v.5 or 5.1 so I let it merged 38+37 v.4. Cheers!

The Samurai Warrior 3 PAL does not load on default setting. So I tried force NTSC and force PAL 60 but the screen is choppy. Then I force PAL 50 it works, I manage to get to the saving profile screen, then I choose a slot to play game, it goes blank again. I only switch the video mode config, everything else is on default.
I use 57b4-222 version with an NTFS drive. The dual layer ISO is converted to a wbfs and a wbf1 file

There is another thread about that. There's nothing to do with the loader, this game is a bad dump. All we have to do is to wait for a proper release

Ok I'm new to Configurable USB Loader I had to move from USB Loader GX because it won't support wdm so can't load games like Sam and Max. My question is how do I go about setting this one up as a channel and what is the latest version because when I try to update from within itself it gives a 502 error so can not update. Almost forgot and how do I flip the case over to the see the back details about the game selected?

To install as a channel, check this tutorial.

Try installing from inside the loader again, it should have worked. If it fails again, you can always get the latest links here.

You can omly flip the cases in the coverflow GUI modes (the non grid-based ones). Push D-down to switch to one of those modes if you aren't stating on one. Push D-up or twist the remote sideways to see the reverse side of the covers.

Press up on the dpad to flip the case, use a forwarder linked in the first post to set it up as a channel, 57b5 is the latest version.

Ok thanks.. got the channel loaded in now.. Now do I need the 222 or the standard? I downloaded the 56 zip file.. than dropped the 57b but should I use 57b-222 or the 57b.. and all I did was dropped it in the folder usb-loader is that correct? Or do I need to drop it in the apps usbloader folder and rename to boot.dol?

Have a look at the tutorial I linked. It tells you what to do with the files (replace boot.dol with them). As for whether you want to use 222 or standard, which IOS do you want to use to run the majority of your games? If IOS249, choose the plain version. For IOS222, use the 222 version. This will save you 0.6 seconds on boot and is better for certain drives.

I have a problem with SMG2:
On the first star of 2-2 (Hot-Stepping Dash Pepper in Hightail Falls Galaxy), every time I get the star, the screen just goes black and freezes. Consequently, I am not able to get any stars in that galaxy. I've tried playing on to other levels and worlds and then come back, but it always freezes at the same point.
I'm using CFG Loader 57b4.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or fixed it. If so, what setup/options are you using?

I have it working.

My setup consists of a USA Wii, Configurable USB Loader v57b4, cIOS rev19 (IOS57 base), and no special options set. It worked on the iND release for me, but I have since switched to my rip.

I would say you've got a bad copy, put your original disc back in and make another copy.
