Hacking Configurable USB Loader

im using 1 of bad uncles forwarders dont know what 1 tho ill try the 1 from page 1
im running priiloader .3b and cfg 53

whats the directory the loader has to be in...

I never got around to testing it with sd, but for usb works okay. The paths I had for both though are:

SD:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol
SD:/apps/usbloader/boot.dol
USB:/apps/usbloader/boot.dol
USB:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol

I'm personally using USB:/apps/usbloader/boot.dol

Note it may appear to take a bit longer than the USB Loader GX version because it doesn't display the logo - just has the black screen until the cfg usb loader screen appears.

Because these are "standard" paths for cfg usb loader you'll be able to auto update through the wii as well.

Some games on my hard drive are named \wbfs\GAMEID_Title\GAMEID.wbfs and some are named \wbfs\Title [GAMEID]\GAMEID.wbfs. Is there a script that i can use to make them all \wbfs\Title [GAMEID]\GAMEID.wbfs?

I know both are supported but its easier browsing games on the hard drive that way.

Just install it to your harddrive and load using ur usb loader, i use cfg and this works perfectly

Are u Pal or NTSC im not sure it matters because i think that its just a forwarder iso that boots the system menu.

Its a PAL iso anyway.

If you downloaded this iso, the covers are up on wiitdb at the mo, but they may not be there much longer as they are not great(very basic, my photoshop skills are very limited lol). Hopefully someone with more talent will make some better ones but if you are like me and hate seeing the no cover image, then they will do for now!!

EDIT : I see that currently this ISO has been downloaded 30+ times. How is it working for you all? What system menu do u have? Apart from cfg, Which other USB loaders do you use? Does it work with those?
Im interested to see how compatible it is with the different versions!

starting the iso from cfgloader, i get to hbc and now there is the click on sysmenu possible,..but then i found out why...

all settings from priiloader got deleted...
retried it 5times, priilaoder settings only get removed if using the iso
using 4.1e

I'm having a difficult time getting CFGLoader to see games on an NTFS formated partition on my USB drive. I've tried countless different configurations and options, but couldn't get CFG Loader to see any games.

I formated the partition to FAT32, and used WII Backup Manager to copy the games to the drive, and it worked flawlessly.

Can anyone give me some advice to get this working in NTFS? It'd save me a lot of hassle!

Yes, ocarina was always a per-game option to begin with.

The new Configurator (54.1) can also be used to easily set the different hook types in the grid-based settings.cfg management mode.

It looks like the file is using unicode double quotes (?) rather than standard ascii ones ("), but I'm not sure if that is the issue

Edit: Also after looking at your image, it seems you are using the ZH_TW.lang file

the hook type is normally given when getting the txtcode off geckocodes or the forums, other than that its trial and error

I should have said that Ocarina and Wiird are independent from each other but share the hook. Or in other words, you can use the debugger or Ocarina alone without the other, so the hooktype should be a different option.

That's because at that point the unicode font has been unloaded to make room for the game.
But I will fix this by printing the "Loading" translation just before unloading the font.
Will be in next version.

how do you have your games setup
im using my games off an ntfs partition using sparsed iso so loading cios222 and is ntfs could that be the problem
i might try it in wbfs format on the ntfs and see what happens

with the fast rename folders script that usptactical created i get n error
but only if i try an use it on my portable drive that has the games
if i use it on my other hard drive that i store all my games it works fine and there an exact duplicate of the games
