ZOMG!!!!
Thank you everyone!!!
Thank you!Thank you!Thank you!!
I dowgraded my IOS 249 rev15 to rev 13.
I really wasn't expecting this to work, but IT DID!!
WOW i am so happy right now!
But yeah...there is the answer to anyone else having the same problem.
Any revision above 13 will not work, i guess (didn't try rev 14)

Wow, I must've done something REALLY wrong then. Because whenever I start the app, it automatically goes to the mounting screen.

Any help?
By mounting screen do you mean the system menu?
No, there IS NO system menu when I start the app. It goes straight to the mounting hard drive screen where I have to wait 30 seconds.

Interesting. Perhaps this is caused by the same bug that affected NeoGamma. If that's the case, then both 14 and 16 could work (except with dual layer games of course). Would you mind testing the others out so that we can get a complete set of information that is required?

Oh, that's the screen you mean!

Will, to make it ensure it's trying to get to your drive, check config.txt and settings.cfg have "device=usb" and do not have a different setting for the device option. Also, make sure you are using the correct USB port (the one closer to an edge of the Wii, which would be at the bottom if you have the Wii laid flat).

Also, install IOS222 if you haven't already and try adding "ios=222-mload" in config.txt.

Yeah, it's definitely in the right port. So now I'm closer to drawing 2 conclusions:

1. I somehow placed the inSDRoot files wrong. The folder called "usb-loader" is suppose to be at sd:/ right? Because that's what I did.

2. My hard drive isn't recognized. Yes, I know it's in NTFS, but still, it's not looking good.

1. That's right. And putting files in the wrong place would not cause this error, anyway.

2. Oh, you are using an NTFS format? You are using the -fat version of Cfg, right?

I can do that, but it will have to wait till tomorrow.
My wife has laid claim to the tv for now. She's watching her Spanish soap operas.
And after that it's time for my Daily Show and Colbert Report. Then it's off to bed.
Also, HJTesting said that on his card it only works on rev 13, so i am assuming he has tried rev 14 at least.
But i will do the test and post the results.

Actually no, I'm using the non -fat version. Am I suppose to be using the -fat version?

NTFS will only work when using IOS222. You should technically still be able to read the drive with IOS249 (which the non-fat version picks by default), but things will be easier if you use the -fat version.

Yes, I've tried the SDHC via IOS249rev14 & IOS249rev16 and it didn't work.

Alright then, I'll get back to you after using the -fat version. And I do have IOS222 installed, unless it somehow wasn't installed properly, which I doubt to be honest.

Hmm, what do you know, using the -fat version gave me a menu. Except now it says no games found. It's probably because I didn't partition my hard drive.

Do I really need to partition my hard drive or is there a way for me to just put my .iso files in them and run them through cfg? Because there's quite a bit of stuff in my HDD and partitioning it would erase it all.

hey I just want to be sure. Im trying to get work HDD which I split in two and I got in on half ntfs (movies, backup,.....) and other one format with wbfs and wii games on it. But when Im trying run it via usb loader gx it didnt find my HDD. When I try only with format wbfs without spliting the disk its work fine. Will this program solve my problem? anyone know? or do you guys have any help or just link where I can find something about this? I didnt find anything yet. thx

You likely didn't put your files in the correct place. Read README-CFG.txt, the last few pages of the thread or the first post of the thread for more info.

Yes, it should work with Cfg.

Hey Guys!

I use CFG with a FAT drive. Currently I´m using IOS222 installed with 38. Would there be any performance / stability raise if I would install it with "IOS38 merged with IOS37"?

What´s better?

sorry for my bad english,

jeff

When will the SDHC FAT support be fixed? I have an 8GB SDHC card, but CFGLoader will not recognize the game on it (under /wbfs). Is there a fix I can use?
It was supposed to have been fixed in v50c. Have you tried that yet?
Thanks, I just updated, and I'll try it now.

I have NO IDEA why but for what ever reason when I try playing the Sub-Space-Emissary of Brawl (Retail disc) I get a black screen that will not progress, or make sounds what so ever. I am BEYOND CERTAIN THAT I am using REV 15, and NOT rev 14. Loading from a custom channel (I think by creation of CRAP), or from the actual homebrew program of this loader, causes this. Loading from WBFS, IOS 249 (& I tried 222). I did try deleting the save data of the game (through the Wii-menu) as well.

Yet I can ironically get the 'house' menu @ this screen, but when trying either to get 2 the Wii-menu or reset, I have to unplug my Wii, to be able to turn it on again. Strangely when I check the movies section of data in Brawl, It shows the movie of 'pit watching from above', when I try to play this I get the black screen AGAIN!

I am sure I have no problems with Metroid Prime Trilogy despite not playing it for months.
