That way, searching with a 4 letter id would have more chance of success and also there wbould be much less duplicate covers running around.

Agreed. This is good and works best for the majority and I see it appears to be moving that way also on the covers site.

It's nice that you have made your loader so flexible so that those who wish to keep on truckin' with 6-digit gameids may in fact do so and this is transparent to those using 4-digits ids. Good stuff!

just updated to v16.
music still not working.
does it need to be specific size or bit rate?
mine is 9.5mb mp3.. 320kbs bitrate.
not working.

Just installed new game with this new version sound cuts out when installing, which is fine because as soon as done copying sound begins playing again, who needs the light now lol

oggzee, did you implemented a new way to get widescreen support (real one) or is it the same old one (pseudo one like someone said)?

I don't think Wii has a "real" widescreen mode.
The Wii hardware only supports "anamorphic" widescreen.

Hey, yes I can confirm now: mp3s larger than 8MB don't work.
Bit rate doesn't seem to be important.
So, try with a smaller mp3, let's say 5MB.
Or recode that one to 128kbps, which should make it small enough...

hmm.. just tried 7.68MB one and still didn't work.
should i try below 5mb?

lol damn, my smallest mp3 is 7.52mb.. all my mp3's are in 320kbs.

damn weird.
just got a 5mb mp3 from a friend to test it.. still won't work.. i must be doing something wrong.
do i need to put something in config.txt?

cool, another couple of nice features would be filters so you can just see local multiplayer games or by genre and auto detecting of orarina codes installed.
a bug i noticed i had a slightly scratched dvd and it came up 100% of 65536.00GB or something and continued on the next line where it left off. wbfs panic error froze the wii with another damaged dvd i tried to rip.

Ok, I got it, if the mp3 contains a cover image inside the ID3v2 tag it doesn't work.
As a work-around, you can remove the cover image from the mp3 with a ID3 tag editor like this:
http://massid3lib.sourceforge.net/
Or remove the id3v2 tag completely if it still doesn't work.
However, the audio stuttering bug is still here

ouch...just updated and no more covers...all in the folder but not displaying on the loader any more..strange...LOL

Could be, because the loader switched to the "widescreen" mode.
If so, it will look for GAME_wide.png covers.
You can just download them from the options menu again and it will create the GAME_wide.png covers as well.

NEW: cfg v17:

http://www.mediafire.com/file/wn0qrkyo0le/...oader_cfg17.zip

Changes:
- Eject DVD after install is complete if button A is pressed

- option: hide_game = [0], GAMEID1, GAMEID2, ...
Hide games from list (can be used for parental control)
Multiple games can be specified in one line separated by comma ","
or each game in a separate hide_game = GAMEID line.
setting hide_game = 0 will reset the hide list.
GAMEID is a 4 letter game ID.
Example: hide_game = RZZP, RDCP

- option: pref_game = [0], GAMEID1, GAMEID2, ...
Preffered games, to be shown first in the list.
Syntax is same as with hide_game.
Example: pref_game = RHAP, RSSP

- Show number of games after hdd info

I have this music.mp3: 1.49mb, 128kbps, 44100hz, MPEG 1.0 Layer 3.
And still not working. Nothing in ID tags.

music=1 need to be in config.txt or isn't necessary?

music=1 is not needed in config.txt, as that is the default.

Can you please send me that mp3, so I can have a look?
