I think I have finally reproduced the problem.
It seems to happen only when using WBFS.
I haven't noticed it because I don't use wbfs anymore
biggrin.gif

Also makes me wonder is anyone still using wbfs at all?
If yes then I would expect more bug reports about it...
Anyway, I'll fix this...

cfg v68d (bugfix)
cfg68d.dol
cfg68d-222.dol
(or online update)
Changes:

cfg v68d (bugfix)
* Fixed wrong banner sound playing (or hang or crash)
when using WBFS and the new GUI menu.
* Fixed missing text when a translation was missing
(Now english is used if a translation is missing)

Please let me know if the wrong banner sounds, or crashes or hangs are fixed or not!

launching it through the fowarder channel on the main menu, the App. Path: sd:/apps/usbloader is shown, which is wrong because I never set the path to the sd, it's always been to the usb, i've never had any trouble updating till now when trying to update to version 68,
how do I change the App. Path: to USB? thanks

Can you save debug.log and search inside for something like this:

CODEbase_path: sd:/usb-loader
apps_path: sd:/apps/USBLoader
covers: sd:/usb-loader/covers
theme: sd:/usb-loader/themes/Stripes
url:ÂÂhttp://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/{CC}/{ID6}.png
hide: 1 __CF
args[1]: [0]=cfg65b.dol
music: 1 gui: 2 CC: EN
device: 1 partition: FAT1

And paste it here.

ok here it is,

base_path: usb:/usb-loader
apps_path:
covers: usb:/usb-loader/covers
theme: usb:/usb-loader/themes/hellokitty
url: http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/{CC}/{ID6}.png
hide: 1 __CF
args[2]: [0]=fat:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol [1]=not set
music: 1 gui: 4 CC: EN
device: 1 partition: FAT1

Ok yes it's a bad forwarder because it sets the argument to:
args[2]: [0]=fat:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol [1]=not set
instead of:
args[2]: [0]=usb:/apps/usbloader_cfg/boot.dol

Try running from HBC (from USB) and compare.
If you don't want to change the forwarder you can still upgrade by running from HBC then it will detect the correct app location.

thanks for the help, I will change the forwarder channel even though my wife likes the current forwarder channel

Hi Oggzee
Thanks for the bugfix, works great for me.
A user from my blog have a problem with the v68 (and the bugfix too)
The music from some games plays in the wrong game, and then when he navigate by the games, then press B to return, and then CFG sends he to the wii menu.
Whats do you need to check this? How king information I need to ask?
Sorry by my english. Thanks for attention.
This has been reported a couple of times, but I can't reproduce it.
If someone can describe exactly what he does to trigger this it would be helpful.
Maybe make a video or something...

Hi Oggzee, thanks. I will try with the WBFS partition today (I'm working right now). I have both wbfs and fat. Any problem I will report to you. Thanks one more time.

EDIT:
I have tested in FAT (primary) and WBFS (secundary) and everythings fine

which version of this runs black ops properly?

I'm playing it with Hermes's cIOS 224 v5.1 base 57 and it works great, both single and multi player versions. Keep in mind that if you want to play multiplayer you need to have ShopChannel updated to the latest revision because the game use it to update itself (the game just updates itself, not the system, so it's safe), there are several ways to update ShopChannel: DopShop, PimpmyWii, ModMii, just look which one you prefer.

I updated mine in 4.2E by downloading IOS56 and Shopping Channel with ModMii and installing by that order with any WAD Manager.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! THANKK YOOUUUUUU!!!!!

BTW i still use WFBS.... can you point me on how to use a different partition for my Wii, please?

Anyone know how to get Samurai Warriors 3 (NTSC Eng) to work on CFG? I've tried every IOS I can think of, 222, 223, 224...nothing's working. The game loads, but when I try to start the story mode, it black-screens. Even installed IOS38 rev17. I ran a search within the thread, but the only thing I found was other folks also asking for help with the game.

Hmm....well, I've tried 222 m-load, 223 and 224 with the settings you listed, but no luck thus far. In the options menu of CFG is shows 224 as 5.1, but both 222 and 223 have question marks in parenthesis next to them. I installed the Hermes 222/223 listed on the NeoGAF Wii Homebrew site, so I assumed it was the correct cios(es). Do I have to manually change the XML file in order to get CFG to recognize it? I don't remember having to do that with my other modded Wii.

The cIOS recognized by Cfg depend on which hashes are checked within the app. If that appears as question marks in parenthesis to you, it doesn't mean these are not correct cIOS, just that Cfg was not prepared to recognize it...

These are the Hermes' cIOS which seem to be recognized:
Hermes
v4
(slot) (base IOS+version)
222 38 v4
222 38+37 v4
222 38+60 v4
v5
222 38 v5.0
223 37 v5.0
223 57 v5.0
223 60 v5.0
v5.1
222 38 v5.1
223 37 v5.1
223 57 v5.1
223 60 v5.1

ModMii (Hermes)
222 38 v4 modmii
223 38+37 v4 modmii
222 38 v5.0 modmii
223 37 v5.0 modmii
223 57 v5.0 modmii

Okay. Well, according to the site I got the Hermes cios from, it was v5.1. How do I get CFG to recognize the cios?

Thanks
