Check if config.txt has this option:Skeeve said:But as soon as we switched to a Game to start it or see it's options, the picture shrunk. There was a black bar just at the bottom.
I didn't observe this on my old 4:3 TV Set with my white Wii. But when we had his black Wii connected to my TV the bar appeared.
Skeeve said:Okay... It's not in there. And both Wiis were set to 4:3.
He didn't know he could switch the Wii to 16:9I changed that yesterday when I brought him back his Wii. But the black bar appears whether the Wii is set to 4:3 or 16:9.
576i = 50Hz, 480=60Hz?oggzee said:That's v67c or earlier, right?
Correct!
QUOTE(oggzee @ Apr 20 2011, 09:51 AM) If the wii is set to 576i mode then the console has the black bar at the bottom yes, that was since always.
Either set the mode to 480p or 480i or upgrade to v68b2 which uses the gui mode when a game is selected so the screen doesn't shrink....
Of course you should post ideas, simply do it here in this topic!Skeeve said:his Wii to 50Hz.
That must be a very old TV, no 60Hz support... I also had a 50Hz TV years ago and I had the same problem with the black stripe with 60Hz gamecube games
QUOTE(Skeeve @ Apr 20 2011, 10:29 AM) BTW: Where could/should (should I?) post ideas for the Loader?

That's already there, see the README!Skeeve said:My idea is to have user specific favourite lists in the Loader. My son likes other games than I do. Having a list of our own would make it easier finding games.

In gui mode, press down direction on the direccional button over A in ur Wiimote. Each click changes a mode at a time.rons said:I got softmoded black Wii (before mod shows 4.3U), now after mod shows 4.1,.
