Um, yeah, I would. I can't be bothered to police it. I'd hope they'd give credit to the original writer (which oggzee always does), but in the end it's information on the Internet and it will be stolen and I couldn't care less in this case.Skizzo said:I see your guide was released under a license. I take it, being the man of principle you obviously are, you'd have no problem with someone taking your guide and doing a few small modifications to it and then releasing it as their own, without any credit whatsoever to the original author(s), or violating the license in some other fashion, maybe selling your guide or anything else. You'd sit back silently and just watch...sure you would.
Fat D said:Have you tried it yet? The Guitat Hero 3 controller for example is just a modified classic controller. Strum bar is D-Pad up/down and the fret buttons are ABXYZl, from green to orange.
QUOTE(Dr. Clipper @ Nov 9 2009, 08:57 PM) I'm working with gannon (the guy who added the alternate controller support) to see if we can add a simple remap function to the buttons option that will allow you to fix problems like guitars, although they should work anyway like Fat D said.

Just an added note, if you have a Dance Revolution Mat, plug it into the first GC port and it will work to control things.
I've actually used it to navigate through a NAND backup.
Not sure if this just got lost in the discussion, or if there really is no interest in this. Is there some fundamental flaw with the idea? On the surface, this seems like a relatively simple change.boffo123 said:I haven't noticed anyone comment on this suggestion. I'd certainly prefer this new filenaming scheme; it would reduce the number of files in the wbfs folder by half. As a bonus, I imagine changing to this naming scheme wouldn't affect any existing .wbfs files since the loader would only look at the first 6 characters of the filename anyways.0ld8oy said:Any reason why you couldn't generate the .wbfs names as gameid_title.wbfs and have the loader ignore everything after the underscore?
It doesn't matter to me either way since I don't use it. Just brainstorming

Thanks for the quick replies! I just tested both the GH3 and the GHWT guitar controller, but they both don't seem to work at all - no respond to any button. I hope you guys will figure it out some day
PS.: Using release 47b2
The default covers directory is /usb-loader/covers. The default 3d one is /usb-loader/covers/3d. They have to be named by the ID in either 4 or 6 character format. You can change the locations of the covers using the covers_path* options.drizzt007 said:I'm having trouble getting the covers to show up.
the games are working ok, but its just showing "no image" in text .
what am I doing wrong here? where do I need to place the cover images?
I copied and pasted them into the "usb-loader" folder also tried putting them in the 3d folder as well.
I see the cover pics when I scroll over the names of the games when using WBFS manager.
so what did I miss?
All options are located in a file, config.txt, and must be edited either manually, or changed with the highly convenient Configurator tool that is linked in my sig. For more help on what the options do, you can also check README-CFG.txt and my tutorial page.drizzt007 said:where do I find that?
I have it working on my 4.0E. I think I set it to load with ios m222, or whatever it's called.milcoi said:does any 1 have need for speed nitro working with the config loader?
