should i hard reset my laptop and reinstall windows 10 because im struggling to play simple games like roblox and low end steam games my graphics card is nivida 930m
and im pretty sure i don't have any viruses

Seem to be the graphic card as it is built in graphic card not a dedicated graphic, if you computer lag in general if probably has to do with not all the cpu core being enabled if you didn't do that yet.

Go to start menu, look for msconfig in search program and files, in system configuration go to boot -> advance options -> # of processors, check # of processor and put it to the max amount. Then restart the computer.

It’s a dual core (4 thread) CPU in the first place running at 2.5ghz, so you don’t really enable the cores, it just uses whatever it can.

Looking at benchmarks for the 930m, anything more intensive than FIFA will run below 30fps on low settings. It’s a low end integrated graphics chip, only a bit better than the Intel HD Graphics 520 that comes with your CPU.

The only way to squeeze out better performance would be to keep drivers up to date, enable high performance in power options, and make sure that any NVidia Optimus settings (if there are any) aren’t using the wrong graphics when playing your games. That, and if your laptop is running off a HDD, upgrade to an SSD at your earliest opportunity.
