Hacking Comparison of backup loaders

Does anyone know of a thread here or elsewhere that compares WiiGator's Backup Launcher, cIOSCORP, RiskiiMod, and other soft mods (or just lists pros/cons of each in one place)?

The three you listed are practically the same thing. Riiskimid and cIOSCORp are more dangerous to install, but allows booting from the disk channel, which the wiigator one doesnt without restarting. Riiskimod is cIOSCORP with some extra options, at the expense of also limiting originals to 3x read speed.

Thanks. Which one do you use by the way? I've been using WiiGator .3 for three weeks or so without a hitch but was curious as to the benefits of the others.

Originals still read at 6x, if you wanna give info get your story straight. Its the firmware of the drive that is limited to 3x when it comes to DVD-R. With originals its still at 6x.

When you have an modchip it tricks the drive to read the DVD-R as an original.

Now on-topic, I still prefer the Backup Launcher above CiosCorp or Riiskiimod. Its much more safe and its still reading backups.
