Is there a way to watch a DVD like Starwars or something on the Wii without a modchip?

You'll need either DVDx or the MPlayer CE cIOS to play the DVD's.

get dvdx from the hackmii installer when you install homebrew channel.
then install mplayer_ce on your sd card
