Hacking CN GW 3.1.1 Updating Emunand to current FW error

So i have a N3DS XL, FW 9.0.
I'm using a Kingston 16GB SD HC class 10. I just installed Cubic Ninja Gateway Exploit.
Backup Sysnand to pc. Formatted emunand. Everything working as advertised.

I then go to update the Emunand (displays GW FW) and try to update and when it reaches the end it gives an error and quickly boots to Sysnand.

Edit: I tried doing it with the stock 4GB SD still i can't update Emunand, gives an error midway into the updating!

I had this exact same problem happened twice to me, when I went to video tape it to post here it actually worked the third time. Not sure why. I'd like to know too in case it happens again

Go to the emunand, put your 3ds in sleep mode and let it download the update by itself, then accept it.
