Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics will have a free to play "Pocket Edition" version

Not only will Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics launch tomorrow, but so too will Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics: Pocket Edition. "Pocket Edition" will be a free version of the game, and will come with four games: Dominoes, Four in a Row, President, and Slot Cars. It will also allow users to play together locally with other players that own the full version of the game. Both the retail version of Clubhouse Games and the free-to-play digital Pocket Edition will release simultaneously, on June 5th.

Good luck lugging all 51 games around with you in your bag.

This is super convenient.

Nah.. I am talking about Domino as it is super popular in my country so that is good enough for me. Yeah, you are crazy for lugging all 51 games. If I want them all then I would use this on my Switch instead, LMAO!

I love lugging around my Windows laptop!

I actually did that for a while, remember when Wifi on Cafes was a thing?

Hevk remember when going outside to a Cafe was a thing?

The DS version of this has fewer games but I think I may still got it.

After playing this demo version and seeing how limited each game is I canceled my pre-order of the full game.
This demo really changed my mind on the game and ruined any excitement I had for it.
Lack of local four player and such minimal options and content per game.
Theres gotta be better alternatives on the Switch from the indie scene.
Least on a per game basis.

Well me and my girlfriend love the games. And found a new fun game with the hanafuda cards - koi-koi. Amazing game. I even ordered the exact same original japanese cards now to play it hands-on.

We both have switches and the fact that only one person needs the game is awesomse!!!

Dang, no BS. That's a bummer but the rest of the games are great so far.

Really ? I have only tried 5 games so far and I am super happy that I tried it for free first.

Several games seem very slow and I can not use my good controllers as it only allows joycons which even though I repaired them and didn't notice anything at all in other games I have very bad drifting issue in this game.

also games like backgammon have wrong rules as you usually can not place more then 5 stones on one row while in this game you can.
Don't know about "gomoku" would have preferred proper GO ...
Darts, Bowling and some other games.have (maybe because of the drifting) incredibly ad controls.
Was really hoping for more then this especially as you can get most of the games for free on the phone and in much better quality

Why not they just mine Monero instead of scamming vulnerable people? If they have a decent machine they can hit a jackpot at any given time.

Bitcoin on the other hand, requires a very powerful mining rig and is more costly.

@SylverReZ, different cultures so probably they have their reasons

    Yes a $2,000 rig for $5 a day

Technically, cryptocurrencies aren't illegal, as long as you don't use it for criminal activity. If you sign up with an exchange, and that they get a tip from law enforcement, they have the right to freeze your assets.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, Yea I heard law is vastly different there
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Nigeria's central bank did make crypto illegal before, until last year they lifted the ban. Always make sure to check before you exchange. ;)

@SylverReZ, speaking of crypto i remember reading about a guy who spend like 10 grand bitcoin on a couple pizzas (when bitcoin wasnt as worthy as nowadays)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's mental. If he had saved up when Bitcoin sky-rocketed in price, then he might've become the next Jeff Bezos for all I know.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, he couldnt know the price was gonna skyrocket anyway
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Then it dropped sometime in 2022, 2021 was when it really went up in price.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, I also recall watching a video of some failed games with their own crypto currency or smth like that, lemme link it to you (it's in spanish tho)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I remember that. Didn't Steam ban games with NFTs before somehow devs managed to circumvent it? Think EA tried to dabble in NFTs too.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Glad to hear people realise that NFTs aren't worth it these days. They realise that they're JPEGs hosted on a file-hosting site like AWS or Google Drive.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Atleast it has captions
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Meta also tried to create their own crypto, but that fell through.

Was called Libra, they had around 100 employees and wanted to hire more near to end of the year.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, idk why facebook tried to do that metaverse thing if mmo games already existed before
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
And Yea I refuse to call it meta
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, I refuse to call it Meta, too. It's a stupid name.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, then why did you call it like that a minute ago?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
I don't get why Facebook ever wanted to dabble into virtual reality, when other companies were doing it.
