I said US doesn't get many good things. Also said that there are one or two non-digital things worth getting.
Europeans start crying

I'm the one complaining
love you gbatemp

i'm grateful we have digital rewards and stuff, i wish everyone else could get the same stuff too. :/

Meanwhile in Japan...

Our rewards are crap. 'cept for the 18 game case and the little cloth bag for a ds / 3ds...

Might get Kirby's Pinball though.

I'm pretty sure the 18-game case (the plain one with all the different covers, not the foam one w/ styluses) is unavailable permanently now. It's not listed in the rewards anymore, not even in the 'temporarily sold out' section at the bottom. It's an awesome case though. The only thing that sucks about it is if you lose the case, you could lose hundreds in games :P

edit: forgot to ask...for anyone with the cloth ds/3ds bag...is it high quality, like solidly made? or is it cheap and flimsy / deteriorates easily? was thinking of ordering a couple, got coins to burn like everyone else heh.

I managed to grab both when they were in stock!

The cloth bag is very nice, i've been using it for almost a year I think, and it's just as it was back then. High quality, I'd say.

Thanks for the info, probably going to order a couple..they sound like a good idea for people who are almost ocd-like regarding scratches on their 3ds xl's :D
it's funny, with the pikachu 3ds...i always have to make sure it's shiny and clean, no prints/gunk/scratches. I have a couple micro-fiber cloths from my eyeglasses that is good for keeping it shiny and new looking

It kind of feels like the same material as a glasses-cleaning cloth, but less thin and flimsy. It could help as an emergency screen cloth :P
I wouldn't do it though, keep the bag clean, haha

Meh. I already have the wii version of Super Metroid and the 3D Classics version of Urban Champion. I still have my original N64 copy of Super Mario 64, and I'm sticking to original hardware versions of handheld games like Kirby, rather than going 3DS VC.

Oh well. I'm sure something cool will turn up eventually. I still use virtual console for 3DS for console games, since most of those don't have any official way to be played on the go.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
