uh..can you explain the soon joke to me? i've really never understood it. please?
It's been a running joke ever since they talked about another kernel exploit for people who wanted access past 9.2, there were many fake claims and promises. In the end half a year later, everyone just kept asking and the word was used as a place holder joke.

My friend have a old 3DS 10.2 or 9.9, do you think he's have any chance to downgrade ?

Thanks for the techincal explanation!
No problem!

Hopefully, all that is needed is for someone to program the function that the kernel calls to a downgrade program and then exploits for everyone!
However, (what will most likely occur) there are probably other unforeseen roadblocks that might occur along the way.

It's nice to know that 0xDEADCAFE means we are one step closer to kernel!

i still havent tried it and i really dont feel like it, ill just lurk until everything is done and working :ninja::ninja:

No no I'm asking because my friend said he got an error message like that. No idea what he did or if it's related to this.

-I haven't even used this yet-
Didnt you randomly ask this in another thread a few days ago? I feel like @Ammako would have the same dejavu I'm having.

Used the latest build.

O3DS XL
10.3.0-28E
Menuhax
Deadcafe
pressed start and it lead to a red screen, forced a shut down.

EDIT Failed in Ironhax, only to map complete.

So, let's think of an hypothetical situation where the downgrade app gets released with memchunkhax2 as it is now (with very little stability).

Does this mean bricks for most people or the app will just refuse to start if memchunkhax2 fails?
