If you got it to work I'd like to know how, but it and Catching Trainer Pokemon are the two that never seem to work in Citra no matter how many times I try them. Stuff like walk speed and 100 point QR scan seem to work though.

It's a fifty fifty chance because the build is quite specific.

Pretty much the same for me latest 28-11 Official build and modified one. The frames are sped up in closed areas while bigger environments drop dramatically. I know this emulation looks good and still under development
but I think I'll wait it out in another 2 months atleast. Theres just so many builds pouring out with little improvements to none

anyone by chance have any idea how to boost the performance with a fx 8350? I know intel is the way but thats not in the cards right now ive got a pretty awesome system. asus gtx 1060 strix oc 16 gb ddr3 oc fx 8350 at 4.5ghz. But every time i try a new build the fps is so so so slow even with vsync off.

I've tried this codes. The 100% catch rate seems working. But the code for catching the trainers pokemon does not. Also, turning on both 100% catch rate and catching trainers pokemon at the same time makes the wild pokemons uncatchable. It seems the game thinks that the wild pokemon has trainer. I havent tried the others.
Can I know where did you get this codes? Thanks!

I only have a build of the official Citra I can build an unofficial one after I get the data/info from the author

Hey, I just build Dampih's code on mac, and it's not much of improvement. It runs so slow just like official Citra build on mac, I can't tell the FPS though. I don't know what the problem really is. I went back and forth from windows and mac, the last 'fast' build that I've tried is GDMK's 15/9 on windows, it runs relatively fast and very playable compared to any mac build. I haven't found any single build that runs fast for mac as for now.

Oh, do you know how to compile Citra code other than 'the official' way like on Citra wiki? I compiled Dampih's code that way, maybe it needs some custom configuration for it to be able to run fast just like on windows?

Yeah, he gave me the code, I can send you one if you want.
So maybe I have to stick with my Windows Bootcamp to play 3ds games smoothly.

Tried out the new 11/28 build and its pretty good. I use a test save in Pokemon SM Malie city and I was averaging 40frames on 11/21 11/22. 11/28 was averaging 46 with spikes in to the mid 50s, not sure what the spikes are about. Overall seems like a great fps boost but I can't say how stable the frame will be because i'm not continuing my playthrough of SM right now.

dude don't talk to me as if I'm a newb. I have been following this project for almost 5 years now. sometimes in emulators alpha or beta stage someone finds a way to boost performance of a certain build an what CPU tricks they can use for better results

dont know, but if you dont see a problem ingame than its ok. and one more thing, did using the user file from gdmk's 11/26 really help with crashing on DE 111/26? it didnt for me.

I tested dampih fastest1 build and it crashes every 5 minutes in S/M but when I used gmdk user folder I was playing 45 minutes without crashes, it should help.

Just update some news in case you guys addict too much to gdmk to be aware of official builds.

Most of the "new fixes and enhancements" it includes are already merged in the official build, or will be merged in a few days. For details:

• Pokemon outline fix - already in the master branch, the official build
• system_mode branch, which allows to run home menu - ditto, already in the master branch
• ticks_executed branch - ditto
• CPU JIT fixes - will be in official build soon
• texFiltering - well, this is probably gdmk's works, but since he doesn't release the source, I really don't know how good or bad it is. btw I(!) have already received several series bug report from this enhancement. https://github.com/j-selby/citra/tree/texFiltering
• gs, controller, and so on, these old friends have been in the bleeding edge build for ages.

lol now i can enter in-game in Monster hunter 3 ultimate (yees) now the game have a lot of glich and weir grafic effect i mean in every zone xD
i tested in Speed1.exe that get me nice fps for me preistoric PC (20-26fps in-game) i think is because that exe use frameskip or i wrong @drwhojan
edit: kingdom heart DDD up about 5 fps in-game 18fps to 23-26fps now in Speed1.exe the frameskip i guess again

I should just do a normal build, no speed try's between mixed games

Its not down to frameskips as it was broken, just hle.cpp changes from (4000) to (+40000) are -
as well as a balance in fifa update

I've been testing last bleeding edge and last gdmk and for ORAS its better (4 me) the last bleeding edge, it hasnt limit framerate and cheats but the lines bug its fixed and its more stable, last gdmk crashes no matter what u tries, only no input core its a little bit stable.

I used 4 last bleeding edge, the user fold of 26-11gdmk due to it hasnt got one predeterminated.

@wwylele , yes, Maybe the Official BE build is better in some way but i did not try it since i think Dampih + Gdmk build is the best for me at this moment , by the way the Bleeding Edge build got random crash/freeze's problem or not in running games ?
