Use with USB Loader/Disc Backup Loader you will need Hermes cIOS installed as 36 merge 37 or 38 merge 37 (option depends on the rev you choose to install).

Use with Modchip and Disc Channel you will need to install the IOS56 off the DVD

Use with cIOSCorp and Disc Channel you will need either cIOSCorp 3.4 or cIOSCorp 3.3 or lower but with the patched IOS 56 installed too.

Hopefully this clarifies things.

Waninkoko's IOS Patcher v1.1 can be found in the download section.

Just drag the ISO onto the .exe and it will tell you the IOS version it is using and you can type in a new version which is 36.

Had to use it too make Sonic and the black knight too work patchedit too run on IOS 55 and then I didnt get anymore error 002 with the game

Thank You mattjd, I got the Patcher and followed the steps you said. Metroid Prime Trilogy now works perfectly, All 3 games now work. For those of you struggling with Metroid Prime Trilogy please do the same. It is all in the readme/spoilers section of this post.

I did this and now have a fully working version of Metroid Prime Trilogy

I just updated to v3.4 but I have a small subset of games that do not show up in the disc channel. (Unable to read the disc error message). These discs worked FINE before I uninstalled my D2C Key.

The discs are NTSC backup versions of:

deBlob
Order Up
Shawn White Snowboarding
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
Warioware Smooth Moves
Warioware Shake It
Wii Fit


This is on a wii with system menu 4.1 and all the preloader settings the same as on the compatability list.

Any ideas why these few wont work? Anything I can do to help debug the issue?

LU65 is identical to LU64. It should say "LU64 and up".

so far no problem here, just installed it yesterday. all of my wii and gc backups so far run smoothly on US 4.1 system menu. thanks for this cioscorp release.

Hello~
When i ran the Main Installer all i got was a black screen.
It is as if the wii has shutdown. Tried waiting but nothing happened.
Rebooting wii is the only way to exit.
Not too sure what the problem may be, any ideas?

I have:
Serial starting with LAH (Australian LU64+ equiv)
Homebrew Channel
DVDx
BootMii IOS
Preloader 0.29
Used TBR to Downgrade IOS15, Install patched IOS36 and Restore IOS15

This is odd, did you install the cIOS 38 rev14 already?

This could be why it isnt working...

I'm pretty sure i did not install 38 but i think i did run cIOS36_rev10-Installer.

Is there are way to check?

Also i have found a few more problems that might help diagnose.
Trying to run cIOS38_Rev_14 installer wont let me go past the select IOS, same with WAD Manager 1.4 and 1.5.
When i hit a to select (default is 249) the control disconnects and i cant do anything.

not anymore. and it's probably not the brightest question, as you were thinking. If you had to re-install preloader, you'd know it because you'd be getting a "system menu corrupt" message when turning the Wii on

You can use DoP-IOS to install ALL of the latest IOSs. That "uninstalls" cIOSCORP. Of course you'd know that if you did a quick search. Using the search feature of forums... THAT would be nice.

I installed a moddified version of cIOS56-64-v5146-rev14 with 3.3 and both GH5 and Rockband Beatles ran fine from the disc channel but with this update GH5 still plays fine and RBB black screens (but does work if loaded through neogamma R7 channel).
Does anyone have a fiz for RBB through disc channel?
