Could someone please pm me a link to a site or pm me the wads that are needed for it or the installer if there is one for v2. I am on a 4.0U and have every thing else but cioscorp installed and I now wish to install it. I have searched google and I can not seem to find a site that has them. And the only site Ifound one here was in french and I could not find it there, but I could have missed it. Sorry if this is really annoying but I am runniing out of luck and I really do not want to download softmii 3 or miiwii just to get cioscorp. Any help is appreciated in advance.

Having said that, you don't have to install softmii if you download it, just grab the cIOSCORP files from its installer package. You'll also need preloader .29 to recover from the inevitable system menu corruption if you're trying to install cIOSCORP on 4.0. (Install cIOSCORP, hold reset to boot preloader, load HBC from preloader, reinstall preloader .29 to fix your corrupted IOS60.)

I do have bootmii as boot 2 and I made a nand backup before installing preloader. Thanks I guess the only way to get them is by using miiwii then, I will download it net time I go to a friends house because I have dial up and It would take forever to download it. Thanks fo the help though.

I use discs because I currently do not have enough spare change for an external harddrive. Plus I have no intentions of uninstalling it with wadmanager, if I decide I do not want it I will Just reestore my nand and reinstall preloader.

Am i the only one here that knows that cioscorp v2 is really crap? It's even crap for somebody who wants cioscorp.

Why cioscorp? To save a few seconds when playing games? If you add up the time you need now and the time you will need to clean it up again later and/or the time to fix whatever problem you will get because of this, you will see that you will not save anything.

I don't think that v2 is compatible with 4.0 when v1 is not. v2 is epic fail, it was known to cause problems with many games within 24 hours after its release. I really don't understand why all the cioscorp fanboys here don't warn you.

If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
