Hacking cios 38 rev 17 is out

This latest revision is trying to kill my Wii drive. Spin spin screeech, spin spin screeeech on every game. Appreciate all the hard effort that has gone in to these latest cIOS revisions, but I feel that sticking with rev14 is my best option for the mo. Its kinder on the ears (and my Wii).

Go Home Rabbids still locks up with a black screen that says "Reading Disc" Tried all the major USB loaders same problem on all of them. Is there a fix for this?

I've never had a prob with that game, possibly operator error?

I suppose that is possible, but every other game works fine, and I have been doing this for a while. I was hoping rev17 would be the solution. I am completely baffled as to what to try next.

i'm on cios rev14 and never had that problem. it does says reading disc occasionally but goes away in 2-3 secs and game continues. prob 1 reading disc screen per 2hr play. same for usb loader GX and config usb loader.

Works perfectly with triiforce_mrc v7. Should work as nice with native Triiforce.

I didn't have any problems with r15 to be honest, but I just updated to r17 to see if it helps titles that need cios222 (to save putting cios222 on).

I have had unreliability issues with cios222, unfortunately titles like disney sing it pop hits still require cios222.

CIOS rev 17 works great. Now I can finally have a "regular" channel loader for NSMB without having to worry about the BCA protection.

My wii got crippled... my usb loader GX wont work anymore, and wad mangers 1.4 doesn't load the sd card...

Why the heck are you on 4.2. Downgrade to 3.2 should solve your ssbb problem >.>
