Hacking Cheats not working

Hi. Yesterday I noticed a weird thing. I am using the latest version (1.17a12) and no cheats are working. I turn them on, turn the cheats option on in the game´s settings and nothing. Anyone knows how to fix this?

EDIT: Found out, that it´s because I edited the usrcheat.dat file. I want to add http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=216582&st=0 to the database (the one for japanese version) but I can´t. When I use r4cce, cheats don´t work and when I use the other editor (http://filetrip.net/f4780-Cheatcode-Editor...-02-Beta-1.html) it freezes when I want to load the usrcheat.dat file. Can anyone tell me how to edit it so it works, or edit it for me? THX in advance

I tried to edit the database according to the guide you linked and the cheats still won´t work. And the cheat isn´t in the latest (today´s) database in cheats.gbatemp.net/temp

we don't support PATCHES
so change the game ID yourself by r4cce

I formatted the sd card and the cheats are working now, and I see the cheats for Pokemon and they work, but I dont see the random Pokemon cheat there, so will you tell me signz where is it?
