Hacking cheats not working on my M3 Real

I've had trouble getting cheats to activate on 0324 - Age of Empires: Age of Kings. I tried the cheats on no$gba 2.5c and they work but won't work on my Real. I'm using FW 2.08. Anyone get better results?

i highly recommend NOT using cheats. a lot of the time they cause game problems:games hang etc. nothing serious, rebooting usually fixes it.

Yeah, my save file on Dawn of Sorrow got corrupted so I just gave up on that game. Is it a firmware issue?
