ROM Hack Cheats For Patched games

Hey i'm kinda new to this so i was hoping this topic is in the right forum could anybody possibly tell me how to get cheats to work on patched ds games at the moment i need help doing this with ben 10 alien force vilgax attacks game works fine without cheats but with cheats it stays on a white screen once loaded i have a r4 card with ysmenu which i used r4ysauto to create any help would be most appreciated thank you

What does the patch for?
Are you using a lot of cheats at the same time? If yes, try just using 1 or 2 cheats.
Have you updated your ysmenu version? If no, search for newer version.

i did as you said and took off a few cheats and it works fine now thanks and i think i do have the most up to date ysmenu thanks for your help
