Gaming cheats don't appear for rune factory 2

as stated in topic, i have the latest cheat database from cheats.gbatemp.net but the cheat menu does not appear when i select the game in the menu..
all other games have their cheat menus it's just this game that it doesn't show..

any clue as to why this is happening?
