ROM Hack Cheats and a Pokemon rom hack

Hi guys,

Never played a Pokemon rom hack before, i was wondering if cheats work on them? Say for instance i were to play a rom hack of the european version of the game i choose, i can use the european cheat codes for the original game on the hacked version?

Any help appreciated

In my experience they do.

But some glitches might occur due to changes made by the hack and all.

Cheers guys, the only intended cheat i wish to use would be a exp modifier code, i really haven't got the patience when it comes to leveling up my Pokemon haha
