Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness cheats please!

I want to second this request. In particular it would be really nice to see adjustments for item durability usage (things break so fast!) mass (even just decreasing the clothes so they don't affect your backpack so much would help enormously,) and I really really want to see the "curse" effect's sensitivity decreased so you can move higher before it triggers as the game has it set way too fast (you should be able to go 10m before it even starts to take effect and even then it shouldn't reach the point of vomiting/etc until further still.) Actually, what would be truly cool is if the curse's effect could be based on level as it sort of makes sense that you'd get more used to it the more you actually spelunk. (Well, that wouldn't be 100% accurate as level is based on what you bring back, but it's probably as close as it could get with something like a cheat.) Of course that may be too much to ask and even just decreasing its sensitivity would make the game a lot more enjoyable.

Is this game really that bad? Another game with wasted potential that cheat code probably can’t fix?

Hi, is there any cheat available for Coromon? Mainly for potential values (Potent and Perfect). Thanks!

What I notice with my brief time with this game is datatype double and not able to find pointer with one item that I did the pointer search for. Search for a number you see on screen with type double (dbl, f64) and you will find it with very few iteration ( not much more than 2 ). After you find something look around and poke around and hope you get lucky with this thing you are looking for ( I didn’t play the game enough to know what those are but it sounded like some kind of state, if they are enumerated then it would be a small integer. It could also be probability or percentage which is likely to be double)

Potent and perfect are Coromon's version of Shiny on Pokemon games. Each creature is randomly given a hidden value from 1-21. 1-16 is normal, 7-20 is potent and 21 is perfect. There is a mechanic in the game to view this hidden value and also a chance to randomly increase it by 1 more point or if you're lucky, even more. That's the whole gist of it.

I tried changing it too when I was playing it using double and other data types but to no avail. I've long since finished it though so just gave up on the whole thing.

@dsrules ,i'll have to settle for creating them every time i load the game
you could try to learn how to use edizon se's pointer searcher function
pick an easy game that already has cheats and see you if you are able to get the same pointer result
for example: Blossom Tales II: The Minotaur Prince 22.07.13 TID: 0100FBB0180FE000

Oh yeah, I didn't see the TID and BID on Made in Abyss, but I know that it's officially required. I have the US version, so I'm not sure about others, but with the version I have (v65536, which is 1.0.1) the TID is 01006080117C200 and the BID is AA0F5ABFCAE1045A. (My Switch doesn't currently have Internet access, so I don't know if there are any updates or not yet, but I don't think there are.)

Is this game really that bad? Another game with wasted potential that cheat code probably can’t fix?
It may be better delegated to modding in general, but that depends heavily on how much the people who do mods are willing to put in any actual effort on this game and whether they are compatible or not with the Switch version I'm not sure (I think only textures would be troublesome? I was under the impression the PAK files are unencrypted.) At least one of the things I'd like to see is absolutely a thing that cheats can fix though (namely the durability thing is surely something cheats can do.)

I don't want to get too far off subject, so I'll do this just to keep the off-topic stuff a bit separated from the rest, but to more specifically answer your question:

There are a few things that stand out as the main things ruining it atm. First and foremost, enemies randomly spawn continuously around you. If you stand still for less than a full second they can spawn in even. And they'll appear behind you even if there is a wall or cliff or something in the way. They constantly hound you and it just is not a fun thing. This is absolutely fixable via modding, but I think it is also something fixable via cheats. The next big thing is item durability is insanely low for everything. You're supposed to live mostly on what you can cobble together as you delve into the Abyss and the biggest reason that is non-viable is the aforementioned random spawns constantly hounding (people seem to have the idea you're supposed to just stay constantly running and avoiding everything, but you can't really do that when the game requires you to eat food from time to time but you're surrounded by things that won't let you eat...) If the first thing is fixed it would make that a lot better, but it still is not fun how fast everything breaks and a cheat to give items greater durability would be incredibly nice to have. (Probably an unbreakable option would also be nice, though for many of us it is sufficient simply to decrease durability drain.) And finally, I personally would like to see the sensitivity of the curse effects decreased. It begins to show stuff on the screen well before 10m and pretty much the instant you hit 10m gross ascension (btw it ignores net -- eg going down doesn't count, so if you walk across a bumpy ground then it counts as ascending even though the bumps go down too) it hits really hard to the point that your character starts vomiting and such (which costs you food, makes you stop, and typically small enemies are all too happy to show up to take a nick or two on you just to be annoying.)

These things are fixable. Whether it's enough to make the game truly good or not is a different discussion. There is a lot I do like about it and if those things (particularly the random spawns more than anything else) could be improved it would really help enormously. There are a few more fundamental things that aren't likely to change too much even with modding though. The areas are (mostly) not large open areas but instead are relatively small "maps" connected together by area transitions. Actual exploration is a lot more limit because of its general design choices, but at the same time I wouldn't call it completely non-existent either. Also, it has a rather simplistic graphics engine with relatively low detail models, textures, etc etc. Maybe that can be improved with heavy modding, but that is likely dependent on the game being popular enough for long enough for people to actually do so. A lot of people liken it to a PS2 era game graphically and to some extent that is sort of true, though obviously it's much higher resolution and generally overall better than a PS2 could even theoretically do (let's call it an early PS3 game in this respect then I guess.) Overall this isn't that big of a deal, but then there are times where it can be a hindrance such as when you run across some of the larger creatures that are supposed to be positively terrifying and they end up looking a bit more simplistic than they ideally should. Still, the graphics aren't actually bad, just not what you expect from a game with a AAA pricing scheme. Actually, now that I've said it, this game feels kind of a bit like an Ys game with survival elements and clunkier combat, lol.

Anyway, I hope that sufficiently answers your question. I do think the main thing though is you definitely would want to wait for the price to come down. No one is happy with the price for this game given what it delivers. At such time as its price drops considerably to, say, half or so it will be much more in-line with what the game actually is.

I will do so the very instant I get home. Thank you very much. I think it won't really be truly playable for me until someone fixes the random spawn crap, but this is one heck of a great start.
