You can use the in app update or just ftp in the new file when it is not running. The problem is not likely to be due to any old version. You can even try the nightly version of edizon (without se) to see if you get the same crash.

With a bad setup you can crash the switch just by calling up the keyboard. I suspect all version of edizon starting from the nightly version behaves the same.

I had same issue with other game in the past but update did fix the problem, so that why I suggested.

Not just only this, I had to clean the CFW folder too.

@JeepX87 ,i had a similar problem weeks ago with DarisBurst Another Chronicles EX + "the software crashed due to an error" and the codes i had created for other games no longer worked,i had to restart AMS to fix.
Now i don't know if it still does,because i'm busy finishing Coven and Labyrinth of Galleria and following related Edizon SE updates,i'll try again.

Everything is Based on Observation, either you know the exact Value of what you're
looking for or you do an unknown initial Search then it's either more, less or the same as before...

If it's a Bar then it's most likely a Float or Double Value, if it's a small Value it's either u8 or u16,
if it's a bigger Value then it's u32 or u64. (Max Value)

Most Values are u32 or Float (f32)

For Moonjump, Edizon-SE does have a Preset for this Task (Press R3)
The Value you're looking for is either Positive or Negative while Rising or Falling.

You will need a Code to Stop your Game at a Specific Moment.

R3 hasn't gone anywhere since the short cut was added. ( R3 means click the right stick just in case you didn't know and all it does is to set up a search condition for you when you are at the search value tab )

After you know how to use edizon se all you need is what crazy_p wrote to find moon jump. Ask technical question and you will most likely get an answer, ranting about instruction not clear won't get you anywhere, from my perspective crazy_p's instructions are clear as day.

Are you trying to find a moon jump code? If so, my videos may not be of much help for that. Mine are just your basic unknown health or bar searches. A moon jump code is more complex than a search for 0 or higher. You may have to use a unknown search to begin and then do different than last searches. These are more time consuming.

Moonjump has it's own Preset in Edizon-SE (R3 in the Search Screen).
That's always the First Cheat i'm looking for...

Basicly this is how it works (in most Games):

You will need the Cheat / Function that Freezes your actual Game.
(Works in all Games since it's Part of AMS Cheat VM)

[L Stop |R Resume]

1. Stop the Game while you Jump (Rise)
2. Search either for a Positive or Negative Value (Range Float 0.0001 - 2000 / -0.0001 - -2000)
(Use the R Button to negate the Value)
3. Stop the Game while you Fall (Descend)
4. Search the opposite Value (If you searched Positive before search Negative)
(Use the R Button to negate the Value)
5. Repeat Step 1 - 4
6. If you only have a few Results left, freeze ALL Results while you Jump (Rise)
7. See if you're constantly Rising (If not do the opposite (If you searched Positive for Rise, search Negative))
8. Unfreeze one Result after another until you Fall (The one that makes you Fall again is Moonjump)
9. Look at the Value while you Jump as reference to find the optimal Rising Speed
(Adjust the Value if you think it's too Slow or Fast)
10. Search the Pointer and Repeat the Process (To Speed Up the Process adjust the Range since you already know the Value)

In Case the Preset magically dissapeared for you, you can bring it up manually...

1. Press L3 (Left Stick pressed) to cycle between Float & Double [f32 / f64]
(You are looking for a Float Value [f32])
2. Press + to cycle between Range and AOB Search [A..B / A,B]
(You want to do a Range Search [A..B])
3. Value on the Left Side 0.001 / Value on the Right Side 2'000
(To enter the Value on the Right Side press L then R to switch back and forth, then press Right on the Right Stick to enter the Value)
